This is possible and necessary in order to strengthen the cohesion within the population and to show #solidarity among each other. Through small gestures of attention, helpfulness, encouragement, contact, encouraging words and especially #sharing #music, we can help each other to overcome this unprecedented state of emergency and to remain an #inclusive and #supportive #community.

Our goal is to create a new #opportunity for #DJs from all over the world to share their music without borders and stay #connected #digitally. Moreover the artists will share their personal opinion about the #quarantine situation, explain how it affects them and how they try to deal with it.

Even if it is no longer possible for us to be together physically for an indefinite period of time and to live out our joy and love for music in #clubs and at #festivals, we can still #participate in each other’s lives through an online connection and stand this through together. Although states have #locked their #borders to each other, we shouldn’t create borders in our heads. Now is the time to get rid of all the borders in our minds and tear down the walls in our hearts - we’re in this #together.

Not A Headliner is a Spanish artist currently based in Madrid. His very characteristic sound, highly inspired by turn-of-the-century techno, uses rhythm as a tool and seeks to make the dance floor a disconcerting yet intense and frenetic situation.

Nakamo started her DJ journey 2 years ago across the North London party scene, however, in recent months she has began to push further afield. Her recent set for FOLD’s streaming series Unstream turned heads with its optimistic, varied, melodic style; drawing attention from those who hadn’t encountered her before and stirring up loyal listeners. 

Following this she made her debut on Noods, Reprezent as well as recently putting out a Technomate podcast, with mixes lined up for HTBX London and a Fold Detect series mix in the pipeline, the end of 2020 is looking lively for Nakamo.

Codec Recordings Unleashes Codec Volume 2, their second Various Artists compilation.
The second Various Artists compilation on Codec Recordings features a range of hypnotic and raw techno from 8 different artists from all over the world.
Kicking off the compilation is Omnia by Russian producer Annabiosis, who starts strong with an acidic track composed of icy pads and deep percussion.
Gestur brings a high energy, raw track with moody chords and huge rumbles resembling that of a banger from the 90s.
Next in line is Camouflage by Linear Phase, a Barcelona based artist who’s seen releases on labels such as Suara Music and Smashead records. He delivers a driving and raw tune with a no nonsense attitude.
The peak-time force continues on DAC Disaster by Random Sequence, a producer from Poland whose previous works have been featured on labels such as Korpus 9 and Devotion Records.
Road Agents presents a hypnotic and percussion oriented song accompanied by droning pads and off kilter rhythms.
Systematic Research, also known by his other alias “ASKE” gives us the track Planetary Scan, filled with rumbling basses, sci-fi bleeps, and ethereal pads.
Recurring artist Von Rausch finishes strong with the track Tensor, featuring large ambience, a biting polyrhythmic groove, and powerful bass to tie it all together.
