Over the last 18 years Declan Kelly has established himself as a unique voice in Australia’s contemporary sound art community. His eclectic sensibility and keen sense of rhythm is always at the forefront of his work as a music producer, recording and mix engineer, DJ, sound designer and broadcaster.

Swept up in Melbourne’s late 90’s electronic music culture, Declan began DJ’ing in 1997 at the age of 16. His love of Detroit’s soulful machine music led him to explore deep into the roots of electronic music through his DJ sets in clubs, festivals, bars and radio programs The Leisuredome (3PBS FM, 2000-2003) and Against The Arctic (3RRR FM, 2005-2010). These acclaimed programs were freeform sonic excursions which championed Australian and overseas electronic music, and contextualised it against influences from the worlds of jazz, funk, soul, disco, reggae, industrial and experimental music.

After graduating from the VCA with a Graduate Diploma in Sound Design in December 2006, Declan worked as a primary sound artist on Africa, Night Garden and Posts In The Paddock with award winning company My Darling Patricia as well as Arena Theatre, Ranters and Thin Ice.

In 2017, Declan is working across a variety of forms; as mix engineer with electronic trio Saatsuma, producing artists, collaborating on various sound design projects and finishing the sophomore Dream Kit EP, a follow up to 2016’s Dreamixes EP. Declan is also a busy classical music engineer working with Rubiks Collective, Anon, The Letter String Quartet and other Melbourne based chamber ensembles and soloists.

Barry O’Sullivan has been broadcasting on the jazz scene for many years.His program A Jazz Hour have been broadcast for 19 years on the CRN satellite.

He also reviews recordings and live performances for the international websites  All About Jazz and Jazz Australia and Fine Music Magazine
His extensive knowledge of both the local and overseas scene makes the program an ideal listening base for jazz fans across the country. The program strives to create an awareness of primarily the musicians involved in the local scene through live interviews and programming their music, while bonding with the music being recorded internationally by their contemporaries.

Claudia Long is a community radio reporter, presenter + producer, freelance writer and student journalist studying at RMIT university.

Primarily based in Melbourne, Claudia is the Assistant Producer of flagship politics and current affairs program 'Represent' on DAB+ radio station SYN Nation (broadcast every week from 3-4pm Saturdays on digital radio and syn.org.au) and conducting interviews, reporting and presenting parts of the show. Currently volunteering at 3RRRfm, reporting and producing for daily current affairs program 'Panorama' and reading/writing breakfast news bulletins every Monday on (both on SYN 90.7fm) she is a keen political animal and loves to chase a great story.

With passions lying in both broadcasting and written journalism Claudia is in the midst of beginning tertiary studies as a first year journalism student at RMIT, writing, working part time, training to present television programs on Channel 31.
