"Este canto me fue soplado por los espíritus del camino , aquellos seres que acompañan a los caminantes y buscadores de las montañas, valles y desiertos. En tierras áridas donde los indigenas Guanes habitaron , montes de fósiles vivos  en Santander, Colombia.  salí sola y no había ni una alma en el camino , de repente empece a cantar y a danzar este canto. Las palabras y los pasos de la danza llegaron por susurros en el viento por los espíritus de ese mágico camino : tal cual así yo lo entrego. 
La danza sagrada Guane llena de fuerza a quién la canta, a quién la danza y a quien la escucha. 
Y sí alguien me hubiera visto tal vez pensaría que yo estaba loca pues caminaba , pero no caminaba: bailaba y cantaba..."

Throughout human history and across most native traditions, constant repetitive rhythms and the steady drone of chanting have carried shamans and other spiritual seekers into other dimensions in ecstatic trance. Even today, this music, as ancient as the rocks and wind, provides sacred transport to higher states of well being and bliss. Attaining the Shante Ishta is the goal of this journey. This is the “single eye of the heart," the third eye or wisdom eye of the ancients--the shaman's eye. It is the place where the individual soul attunes to the collective, universal heartbeat that unites us all.

Shaman's Eye brims with multi-layered currents of sound and chanting woven around a steady stream of theta rhythms. These provocative rhythms are designed to tap into our own ancestral depths and call us into the secret worlds of trance. Each of these musical landscapes is alive with its own distinctive spirit energy. As they carry us forward they become the vehicle for our journeys.

In the true spirit of musical alchemy, Amani Friend blends his technical skills with his innate understanding of the power of sound and vibration to heal and transform. With deep reverence, he weaves the strands of pan-global percussive and melodic expressions, sacred chants, and the atmospheres of nature around the steady heartbeat of trance to inspire inner journeys.
