Everybody's darling Vienna/Istanbul-based label Belly Dance Services, founded by Hanzo & Yaman (SXDNS065), wraps up the 2021 summer with its third VA release: “Various Worldwide III” brings together five young and skilled artists from across the globe, each contributing with their own particular style while keeping the true essence of the imprint characteristic sonority. Lott (SXDNS257), Ducati Flux, Heidenreich (SXDNS142/FREEDL003), Perdu, and Ulises Arrieta (SXDNS193) delivered proper Indie Dance/Dark Disco pieces for our delight.

Premiered here, “Nahual”, the second track of the compilation, was made with love by Ducati Flux, co-founder of the newcomer label Odd Pleasures and half of Random Atlas (SXDNS155). Mainly defined as “a sorcerer believed by various Middle American Indians to be capable of transforming himself into animal form”, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, “Nahual” is one of the most intense themes of the release. The virtuoso Chilean artist gifted us with a catchy dark tune that is full of playfulness and showcases the highly creative side of the producer.

Calypso Records founders Thomass Jackson & Iñigo Vontier set up their label as a way of shining a light on Latin American artists, however for their next release they hone in on Tel Aviv and four artists making waves in the Israeli city. This is what Daniel Monaco & Futuristant made fusing their forces even tho the two artists  have never met yet in real life the duo sounds like they are meant to be, their productivity results in tracks that you will hear these coming months from different labels, the debut on Rotten City is a track called Hide, label boss Alvaro Cabana instantly fell in love with the track and demanded it be part of the compilation Rotten Citizens Vol. 4
 
Daniel Monaco is whispering on the track, the tune is very carefully produced by the duo.
 
A deep warm yet cold and sharp feeling is running thru the whole track both results of Futuristant sound design skills and Monaco’s synths touch.

It's been a tough year for everyone, especially for the electronic music and artists in general,  however, Madrid's Logical Records have seized this opportunity to bring  audiences something special and make important changes for the future. 

Label bosses Mike Sacchetti and Ivan De La Rouch have  decided to put together five magical tracks on what's going to be the first V/A Vinyl/Digital Release from the imprint. "Meteors" is the name given to this story and it's where the main characters came together from different places around the globe to take us on a trip filled with dark hypnotic sounds and groovy beats.
