"Project MK Ultra" - one of the first singles from the album features digestible melodies that are swirled around a harmonica, a trademark whistle, and a vocal discussing past wrongs done by those in power. The album's opening track, "Universal Wisdom," sees The Phantom Whistler acting as a medicine man, imparting spiritual lessons amidst a lattice of synths and sounds.

The album takes the listener on a journey through the Wild West, with "Strike a Match" being a seductive track that offers a middle finger to stifling authority, with guitars dripping in chorus pedals and a fat 4/4 engine. UONE has gained a reputation as a counter-culture iconoclast, and "Phantom Whistler" promises to be an intriguing addition to his already impressive discography.

 The second installment of this series of releases by Matt Correa arrives with a song titled Speak Intelligible.
 A super powerful theme that will arrive in mid-November through traxsource exclusively for 15 days and then on the rest of the platforms.

 Matt Correa offers us the second of this series of three references whose common link is his production period. Three themes created post-pandemic in which we find several common influences and concerns. Influences acquired at the beginning of his career and rediscovered in the pandemic period where Matt was able to listen to countless albums and songs that left their mark at some point in his life. Jazz, funk, deep, garage and much more.

 In Speak Intelligible we can find a long list of those influences synthesized in 6 minutes of House Music with a lot of character. A strong base and full of Groove in the purest Garage style takes you straight to the dance floor. Possibly the most notable thing on this track is the bass line. An abrasive and elastic sound stands out above everything else.
 After much searching, Matt offers us the vocal line that gives the track its name, taken from an old documentary where someone explains the three keys to being a good interlocutor and carrying out a speech properly.

Sheriffs say he's an odd stick, a high noon drifter folding music into wistful states of consciousness; lawmakers paint him as outright dangerous, a counter-culture iconoclast with a dicey reputation/taste for treasure.

The ambient opener' Universal Wisdom' dispatches lessons amongst a lattice of synths and sounds. 'We are spiritual beings having a human experience', the sage guru relays, opening the circle in a didactic fashion.

In this new Ep, The South, Manu Cachero shows some of his main hallmarks. Thrilling synths, intoxicating and unexpected melodies, and a cosmic and synthetic envelope that teleports you to a new dimension. From the detuned and intricate synth lines of the sparkling title track, to the acid rush of “Silver Ships”, to end up on the killer and mental bassline of “It Started In Jamaica”.

Along with the three original tracks on the EP, there are two amazing remixes by the unmistakable Freudenthal, and the always forceful Señora, to make The South a magnificent Ep.
