Red lights everywhere, girls beakoning him to enter. How did it reach this point? Just a few hours ago everything seemed so fun, just a quiet night out, but that was then.  Gone were the soft glow from the light fittings of the restaurant lost in a wash of alcohol and other narcotics, as he stood there, almost engulfed by the smokey red lights.
Luca Venezia (AKA Curses) Ombra International imprint is going from strength to strength with its own unique blend of Wave, live instrumentation and sleaze! For their 5th outting Theus Mago takes the helm with a healthy dose of dirty funk. 'Smokey Red Lights' gets the remix treatment from Arthur Johnson, giving it a dubby makeover sexy drug ridden whispered vocals almost hide behind a driving bassline which straddles the line between funk and plain filth. This is the kind of track that would set fire to the dancefloor at a night like Pornceptual in Berlin, Strip club music, that will no doubt do just as much damage on a dancefloor.

The title track is cracking low bpm groove, with a driving beat and progressive feel culminating with deep atmospheric vocals.

Mr BC, aka Bob Salmond, returns to Roam with three new originals to form the Chicken Skin Suit EP. The Scottish artist opens up the EP with the title track that hints at early 80s dance with its off kilter arp bass under ethereal strings punctuated by spatters of electro toms. Lithuanian producer, Roam alumni, and prolific rising star Zakmina accentuates this early 80s vibe with his dark and deftly crafted remix. Adding diversity to the sound of the EP, Mr BC is joined by Lloyd Longchamp to create a smooth summer vibe with warm psychedelic overtones in the blissful track Evil Presidents. Within the same laid-back vibe Mr BC rounds out the EP with sweet electronic melodies in his solo work Hurts (But It's Worth It).

Cabizbajo returns to the La Volta Ros imprint with a new EP featuring remixes from Dan Solo and Die Jungle, follow up his last outing which reached a million plays on Spotify. Cabizbajo was raised in the infamous, cartel-run city of Culiacan in northwestern Mexico. There was little to no local music scene growing up, but he learned guitar, before going to to sax, drums, vocals and keys, becoming obsessed with synths. Now he travels the world while holding down a residency at his own Rotate party at Bar Americas and has put out his brilliantly inventive disco sounds on NEIN, Logical and Phisica amongst others. 

The fantastic title track is a deep and journeying cut with shimmering vocals and sustained pads all colouring in the airwaves above a moody, mysterious bassline.

En un mundo utópico se pretende que cualquier máquina fuera capaz de continuar funcionando eternamente, después de un impulso inicial sin necesitar energía externa adicional, en este caso "Perpetual Motion" va más allá de esta simple definición al contagiar con esa energía la pista de baile para que las almas bailen toda la noche.

Never Enough es una pieza contagiosa que alinea al ritmo motor con un conjunto de melodías espaciales brillantes que impulsan la felicidad en cada asistente.

Por un lado, el Italiano Franz Scala remezcla "Perpetual Motion", en donde podemos apreciar como teje de manera espectacular la danza italiana, la discoteca psicodélica y el proto-house llenando de nostalgia retro cada rincón en donde éste maravilloso trabajo se escuche.

Die Jungle, favorito en la escena mexicana nos presenta una versión de "Never Enough" más obscura, con esas cuchilladas características del productor tapatío, reforzando todo el track con un bajo que derrite cabezas.
