In Liz’s own words, “Machines is the counterpart to my latest release, Robots. I wanted to create two tracks that for me brink on the edge of futurism, but also highlight the age we are in, the battle between Robots and Machines. With its evolving minimalistic patterns, droning synths and machine like calls from the past, my goal was to build continuous intensity, pulling the listener deeper into a trance-like state. It’s all about momentum, pushing forward relentlessly into the unknown."

El legendario productor Orlando Voorn vuelve a estar en el centro de la escena con su nuevo EP Activate, lanzado a través de Dark Distorted Signals. Reconocido como uno de los pioneros del techno, Voorn ha sido una figura clave en la fusión entre el sonido Detroit y las corrientes electrónicas europeas. Su habilidad para mezclar géneros es evidente en esta obra, que refleja un dominio absoluto de la ingeniería sonora.

Dentro de este EP, "Unknown Amounts" se presenta como un corte enigmático pero lleno de poder rítmico, encapsulando lo mejor de su herencia electro-techno. El lanzamiento, que verá la luz el próximo 7 de marzo de 2025, explora la esencia más pura del Detroit techno, fusionada con toques de electro y una maestría en la ingeniería sonora que solo alguien con su trayectoria puede ofrecer.

En este estreno, nos sumergimos en "Space Games", el tercer corte del EP, donde Voorn despliega toda su destreza técnica. El tema es un viaje cósmico a través de sintetizadores espaciales, líneas de bajo envolventes y una estructura hipnótica que atrapa desde el primer segundo. Las capas de sonido se entrelazan con precisión quirúrgica, generando una atmósfera que parece sacada de un escenario futurista en el corazón de una rave intergaláctica.

La intensidad de "Space Games" reside en su equilibrio entre la crudeza mecánica y la elegancia de sus texturas sonoras.
