(ES) Melómana Records vuelve con un nuevo lanzamiento, “Chrome Drone”, producido por Man Syndome (MAN 2.0 y Stockholm Syndrome). En este mágico EP, se muestra cómo dos mentes se pueden fusionar en una dando lo mejor de ambas partes. Además, al disco le acompaña el remix enérgico de Fernanda Arrau y atronador remix de Back from the Wave.

Nosotros presentamos el tremendo track original, Polychrome Drone, que es el que abre el disco. Toda una declaración de intenciones de lo que encontraremos en el disco: una atmósfera envolvente, acompañado de una narrativa pirotécnica, junto a un bombo efectivo, son algunos de los ingredientes que hacen único y prometedor la unión de estos singulares artistas.

(EN) Melómana Records returns with a new release, “Chrome Drone”, produced by Man Syndome (MAN 2.0 and Stockholm Syndrome). In this magical EP, it is shown how two minds can merge into one giving the best of both parties. In addition, the album is accompanied by the energetic remix of Fernanda Arrau and a thunderous remix of Back from the Wave.

We present the tremendous original track, Polychrome Drone, which is the one that opens the album. A whole declaration of intentions of what we will find on the album: an enveloping atmosphere, accompanied by a pyrotechnic narrative, together with an effective bass drum, are some of the ingredients that make the union of these unique artists unique and promising.

El duo pacense se estrena en exclusiva en Mixmag España a través de su etiqueta Melómana.

Melómana Records, etiqueta dirigida por la misma banda extremeña, anuncia para el 28 de Diciembre su último lanzamiento de este fatídico año. 

Un 2020 para recordar por lo que parecía y no pudo ser; un año de buenas fiestas Melómana, showcase por diversos lugares de la península y esos si, lanzamientos de toda una escena emergente (casi consolidada) de productores que apuestan por el sonido Latino, principalmente caracterizado por el uso de vocales en español y un renovado sonido house, mas disco y hecho para bailar.

PREMIERE: VA Headliners 2020 - Gameboyz - Keep in Pause [Melómana Records]

En esta ocasión tenemos un set muy especial con el Live de nuestro amigo @JackWasFaster realizado para el showcase de @rotten-city-records en colaboración con @HonestAllies y @Ballestaclub donde probó varios tracks en los que ha trabajado estos meses. 

En cuanto al equipo involucrado utilizó los sonidos de los Elektron Octatrack, MPC500, DSI mopho desktop, Cyclone TT303, boss blues driver BS2  y un delay tc electronic flashback x4, y otros que incorporará en breve a su nuevo live set.

Tras su paso por la banda Fira Fem (Aloud, Subterfuge) con la que se presentó en los festivales más destacados del país (Sónar, Primavera Sound, FIB, SOS, BBK), Manu Cachero se esconde bajo el alias JackWasFaster para dar rienda suelta a su pasión por la música electrónica.
En sus producciones, DJ sets y live shows, se centra en explorar la cara más sintética del disco, la electrónica de tinte post, el balearic oscuro, la herencia post-punk o el acid más crudo y underground.

En 2020 ha producido tracks para sellos como Inflect (UK), para su casa habitual, Rotten City y estrena un nuevo proyecto de cariz más experimental junto a su partner Johnston&Johnston, bajo el  nombre de Indies With Microkorgs.

Regarding the technical gear, he used Elektron Octatrack, MPC500, DSI mopho desktop, Cyclone TT303, boss blues driver BS2, and more.

After playing in many festivals like Sonar, Primavera Sound, FIB, BBK, with his band Fira Fem, Manu Cachero started his own path in the electronic music scene with his JackWasFaster alias. During his sets, mixes, productions, and live shows, he always focuses on pretty synthetic disco sounds, post punk, dark balearic, or even the most raw and underground acid. 

During this 2020 he's produced tracks for labels like Inflect (UK) and Rotten City. Manu is also starting a new project with a more experimental side, alogside Johnston & Johnston, called Indies With Microkorgs.

@ludviqmsc crash lands onto @bonkersrecs with his first full LP for the label. A young Mexican sound designer and also head of the label, presents “Vicium”, a fresh concept to the dance floor, full of new ideas, new sounds and also we are bringing a bunch of new artists to the label.
