Bogota based venue Kaputt kicks starts the label side of things with seven-track compilation featuring Alejandro Paz, Nuclear Digital Transistor, Eddie Mercury & Mijo, Rodion, Kabinett, Damon Jee & Ravintsara, Alvaro Cabana & Julian Sanza. Born from the new Bogota based club who’ve invited the likes of Call Super, Axel Boman, Kornel Kovacs and more, Kaputt launch a brand new label from the enigmatic streets of Colombia’s capital. Bogota is a place where the underground scene has recently built a new sound of resistance, a sound that sets the local scene alight through unity and community and is now moving on to break down international borders.
Our pick up here is Kabinett, the darkest side of Colombia’s Nicolás Saavedra, co-founder of Nomada Records and someone who offers up 'Don Kebab' here - a skyward track with big disco arps and twisted bass all gliding along and getting the floor under its spell.

Espacio Cielo presents Tronik Youth in "Freakscene EP". Label boss in Nein Records, Neil Parnell has shown an exquisite taste in creating electronic music with Techno, Rave and Disco influences.

Both "Freakscene" and "Effing & Jeffing" are two raw and danceable songs that, accompanied with remixes by Tiempo de Maldad and Parissior, will delight lovers of darker industrial sounds.

We’re not saying that Club Tularosa are the golden boys of Me Me Me, but they’re the only act who got booked to DJ at both label owner Man Power’s wedding and his 40th Birthday party.

Based in Los Angeles, Lionel and Ray have honed an infectious and party-starting sound that takes in serious references like New Wave, Post Punk, and the 80s proto-house synth experiments of Anne Clarke, Yazoo, and Depeche Mode, but never makes the mistake of taking them too seriously. As skilled in the studio as they are in the booth, Pyramids is rather unbelievably only the second ever EP by the duo, after releasing a slew of incredibly well-loved remixes in the 12 months since their debut release on Me Me Me last year, which saw the tracks Starlight Ceremony and Kenji both become bona fide club hits and a firm favorite of distinct DJs such as HAAi, Keinemusic, and CC Disco.

Club Tularosa - Pyramids

Mexican label Innisfallen, curated by Montessori (FLXXX), is proud to present its second release. After featuring acclaimed Israeli artist Middle Sky Boom (remixed by Colossio, Azaria, and Alvaro Cabana) in its debut, this time the magic comes from the hands of French producer Did Virgo, who delivered two high-quality originals that come accompanied with two solid remixes provided by Italian Franz Scala and Mexican Die Jungle.

In a utopian world, machines are intended to be capable of running eternally after an initial boost without the need for any additional external energy due to the concept of perpetual motion. The title track seems to depict this utopian world. Listening to it is like immersing in a scenario in which the machines have taken control. The fat and absurd bass line plus the trippy and sublime synth layer could perfectly be the highlights of Did Virgo’s “Perpetual Motion”, but nothing can overcome the impressive and imposing siren-like synth riff of the theme. The energy and clout it deploys is undoubtedly its most striking feature, something the fans of apocalyptic sci-fi books/movies out there might like.

Y ahora lo hace con el EP que lanzan mañana 10 de Diciembre y que nosotros estrenamos bajo la firma de Technicism aka César Lopez (Bonkers). Disco Pawar en este original titulado Deeper.

PREMIERE: Technicism - Deeper [Veneno]

After appearing on Veneno and Controlla, Oaxaca-based DJ and producer Mad Slow lands on Argentinian imprint Logia Records with a five-track EP featuring two mezcal-infused originals and three interesting remixes provided by the duo Cometran (made up of Veltran and Comegatos), Cali Burton, and Cu da Curuxa, both members of the team of the rising label. Focused on the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco sonority, “Ánimas Trujano EP” combines groovy and obscurity in its backbone and the result properly sells the Latino talent, not only from the main artist but also the collaborators (including Ricardo Ruben and Nina, respectively responsible for the mastering and artwork). 

DJ, producer, sound and audio-visual technician, singer, and guitarist Manuel Petrarca aka Cu da Curuxa is the mastermind behind the remix we chose to premiere. He delivered a slightly more techno and darker version of “Ánimas”, combining a few of his personal influences derived from Indie Dance, Melodic Techno, Nu Disco, and House, and soaking some of his characteristic weirdness into his interesting and captivating interpretation, whose abrupt end leaves you wishing it was a couple of minutes longer.
