After an LP by Red Axes and an EP by Bot’Ox earlier this year, I’m A Cliché is back in the saddle with a new look and a new feel while keeping the same great sound. Two EPs including this one are going to be released on both digital and vinyl formats this Fall, leading up to very special 10th anniversary celebrations in Paris towards the end of the year.

DARK HORSE
A robust drum groove, a syncopated bass line, a galloping cowbell and treated drum fills mingle with hypnotic arpeggios and dramatic pads to create an ominous feeling. Opening the EP with melody and style, MOSCOMAN reminds us here of his dark horse quality: he might be a mysterious outsider but boy does he have the skills to get dancefloors moving.

REROTICA
A mesmerising bass sequence with a no-frills beat. Somewhere in between disco and EBM, it’s already a sensual affair with the music alone but MOSCOMAN’s libidinous vocals give an unmistakably erotic feel to the track. Clocking at 106 BPM, this slow burner is the perfect tune to initiate body to body dancing and to make sweat drip from the walls.

EGO TRIPPIN
A slapped bass and a funky drum beat are at the core of this track. Adding layer upon layer of eerie synths, creepy vocals, subtle drums lo-fi effects, this track is both groovy and psychedelic. There’s a hint of electro-funk nostalgia and a dash of gothic post-punk which gives EGO TRIPPIN that je-ne-sais-quoi required to take dancefloors to the next level.

EGO TRIPPIN’ (THE TWINS REMIX)
Upon hearing this EP, mysterious producer THE TWINS specifically asked to remix EGO TRIPPIN. They deliver an outstanding remix tailored for club use with an elegant, full-bodied groove where the track’s nostalgic feel is underlined by lush vocals and hypnotic synth lines. When the track dramatically breaks down and that slapped bassline makes an appearance, things get stunningly evocative and the buildup leading back to the beat has rarely been so ecstatic.

From	there,	he	will	embark	to Europe	to	embrace	the	French	and	UK	house	culture that	got him into production, refining his	new	EP dropping	later this year.

'Therapy' reveals a lighter and deeper side to Shuhandz's productions as he takes us on a soothing journey that remedies even the weariest soul. Kasper Bjørke and Colder's "Black Magic" EP feels both brand new and like a return to something powerful rooted in what came before; post punk attitude, no wave skronk, disco drums and a classic techno pulse. It's heady, cerebral, deeply trippy music for adventurous dance floors. 
The Black Magic Remixes build on everything remarkable about the originals, pushing elements further towards- and away from- the conventions of the club which is the in-between where Throne of Blood loves to play. 
Kicking things off, London-based The Golden Filter (Optimo Records) shoot for the center of the dance floor, building the drama with staccato synths and a broken rhythm awash in dramatically swelling synths and vertiginous delay.
Building on the heady vibes of his recent remix of "In The Morning" by Smagghe &a Cross for Huntley & Palmers, Parisian mastermind Pilooski puts his hands on “Black Magic," building off-kilter harmonics from a mille feuille of analog synths while coaxing a twisted pop sensibility from the original before waves of delays begin dissolving elements to a slow motion drum machine rhythm lurching like a heart palpitation.
Paranoid London's Mutado Pintado rounds out the remixes with an uptempo take on "Black Magic" oozing with attitude. He adds his own vocals atop chopped up sax samples and a heavy four to the floor kick. At the midpoint, oddball vocal samples and a propulsive arpeggiated synth theme carry the song to a sweat-drenched finish.
To complete the package, Bjørke and Colder offer up an instrumental version of "Black Magic" for those moments when vocals would only break the spell.

Bedford Falls Players originally started out as a collective with @djMarkCooper, Terry Farley, Rob Webb and Justin Drake and has regularly featured local DJ's and producers over numerous releases... However, as things have evolved, Mark Cooper has taken the reigns and produces and writes with a more "Cosmic/Nu-Disco" vibe in mind.

The 'Moon EP' on @nightnoisemusic features two original tracks, the gloriously named "Moon - Chapter 1" - Agent Cooper's "Peak" time warm up Mix is followed by the no less impressive "Chapter 3" Agent Cooper's Black Lodge Excursion. 

To add to the impressive package "TiciTaci" Head Honcho, Duncan Gray has remixed 'Chapter 3'.

Then Sinchi favourites and fellow Amsterdammers @Pin-Up-Club  remix  'Moon - Chapter 1'.  A track with a nice flowing build and featuring some of Pin Ups trademark synth work.

The Delsin re-issue arm turns its attention to Lost Trax. This EP features four cuts taken from two different EPs, The Saturnian System and Lost Trax 2 from 2006 and 2010 respectively. 

Saturnian System opens the EP with some acid laced electro slickness. Fluttering snares and spacey synths carry it away into the cosmos, then The Sequel gets much busier. Scurrying lines dart about in manic but funky fashion, with serene pads off setting the high energy drums. Self Destruct Sequence then drops into an urgent, slippery electronic groove riddled with squelchy sounds and rubbery bass all perfectly orchestrated. Last of all, Birth is a nimble electronic house cut with plaintive synths and kinetic drums that wiggle and wriggling through the night sky. This is an EP stuffed with timeless sounds and is another essential reissue from Delsin.
