I thought about this song a long time ago — during the time of Covid, when many people were sick, afraid, and far from one another. Later, when the war began, these thoughts grew deeper. I kept thinking about how people promise each other, “I will never leave you.” Yet in our world, even when we truly love someone, we can lose them — through sickness, accidents, or war.

But when we bring God into this story, everything changes.
Because even when life separates us, even when death comes, God never leaves us, and we never have to leave Him. That is how this song was born — from sadness, but also from faith and hope.

At first, this song sounds like a man and a woman singing to each other, promising to stay together forever. But as it continues, we realise they are both singing to God. They discover that He is the One who truly unites them, the One who never abandons His children.
