Hailing from the picturesque town of Knysna, his music pulses with raw energy and emotional intensity, painting vivid narratives drawn from his own life and the world around him. Inspired by the rebellious spirits of Tyler The Creator, Lil Wayne, Eminem, and Kanye West, G-Wizz began his musical odyssey in 2007-08, laying down his first tracks as a teenager and crafting a sound that's unmistakably his own.

Inspired by legends like Avicii, ROY L blends uplifting progressive house melodies with modern EDM energy, creating a sound that’s both familiar and deeply personal.

His musical journey began early, with a lifelong passion for music and formal training. But it was discovering FL Studio that changed everything.
