Hailing out of Southern California, St1R has made taking over sound systems and pushing underground techno music (as far back as the school lunch yard of the 90's) a way of life. At the forefront of the early rave scene and always on the cutting edge of underground dance music, St1R cultivated a love for Jungle/Drum & Bass early on that has never wavered. St1R is primarily known for producing (and spinning at) exclusive, outdoor Jungle/Drum & Bass gatherings while heavily promoting the genre along with Hardcore/Gabber and Dark Psychadelic Techno. Despite the commercialization of what is now considered electronic dance music, St1R continues to stay true to his roots and pioneer his unique sound and vision for a new generation.
