Complex Sessions 025: Wittyboy

We are all about beginning the energy here at 3000, which is why this naughty little number from Alex Harris caught our eyes and ears as soon as we stumbled across it. As a composition, ‘Illogical’ is a Bassline megatron, beginning with circus style chord expansions and subtle vocal slices, descending into havoc come the drop. At this point we find our self in the midst of a niche-style storm with wavy bass frequencies oscillating at will with some really cool melodic movement giving them exciting direction. In the age of sound design, it’s always charming to come across an old school Bassline belter such as this.
