If you thought we were done with recording mixtapes, think again.. this time, we’ve put together something very special. We invited DJs to perform live at Restaurant Europa and bring their favorite vinyl records for an all-vinyl mixtape session. It was super vibey!

The second DJ we're proud to welcome to Background Radio is none other than the iconic WaxFiend. A true legend in the game, he's not only a super skilled and experienced DJ, but also known for his music productions. As an organizer of some of the most legendary events in Amsterdam’s nightlife, his influence runs deep. Under his alias Wes Lee, he explores more electronic sounds, but for Background Radio, he's bringing a soulful mixtape with rich influences from hip hop and R&B.
