If I could play an 80 ft golden gong, I'd cut the entirety of the intro & insert my golden gong sound. And then I would get pissed trying to blend my irl sound w/the vocals that begin here. So I'd seek out "the vocalist"/producer to record a whole new track. But I don't have a golden gong or the time to teach mixed musical arts

I love Jamie's voice so I decided to make this edit of his track Shoulda

This year, MTA Records will be releasing four seasonal EPs, each with a collection of original tracks from new and rising producers. For the spring edition (out Mar. 18), they've collected brand new beats from Felon, Khésis, Kasbo, Volatile Cycle, Mitekiss and Vacant, the latter's being our personal favourite. Vacant's "Eternal" features deep, undulating bass tones swelling and subsiding beneath echoing vocal samples and a techy arpeggio that sweep in and out of the mix, all of which is guided along by a skittish—but by no means imposing—percussion line. You couldn't really ascribe one particular genre to this one; elements of ambient electronica, drum & bass, footwork and more can be heard in the mix and yet, as you'll hear below, there's more to it than that.

It’s been a vivid journey so far. Within months we have been introduced to a lot of new people, expanded our boundaries and celebrated our new achievements with our good friends and family members. 27th of March is our date for the "Friends" project. A vivid and colorful mixture of sounds submitted to us by both well known producers and newcomers. Let your ears be filled with the friendship spirit.

27th of April is the launch date for "Family". As you may guess, it’s made up out of our current ZenSupremacy roster. You can’t measure the amount of excitement we have bringing this artistic diversity to you. It’s our first time getting together in such a large-scaled project. But again, all of this wouldn't be possible without YOU, our friends and family.
