Launched in January 2022, DSC (Deepak Sharma Collection) is a new digital series where Deepak will be releasing an individual track each month. The project materialized from the pandemic as an outlet to keep busy and sane from the isolation. From fresh material to digging into the vault and editing older sketches, everyone was fair game.

The result is a collection of varied works where the sound is consistent with what Deepak is known for: stripped-down, rolling, and hypnotic atmospheres ideal for dark dance floors which he missed both as a DJ and as a dancer.

That's primarily down to label boss Drumcomplex, who in this short period and with very few artists has established a reputation that has projected virtually every new release into the playlists of the major players. And in the process he and his label have themselves grown to become a major force.It's as if Complexed Records hit the nerve of an age which was not openly calling out for a powerful breath of techno past, yet still seems relieved to hear it. Or rather, to absorb it. Who would have thought a few years ago that once again a new techno label would be established and experience such a meteoric rise. But let's leave the past in peace. A glittering future with packed dance floors, on which visionaries once again celebrate music as a unifying element as they dance together into the early hours, with gratified smiles on their faces.
