Landing on AnalyticTrail next is James D, one of the hottest talents in the Czech club scene who mark his debut on the inprint with "187 EP"

James is an artist who keeps stepping up his game with every release, and '187 EP' being no exception to this. Another killer EP from the American native who has released cuts on Say What?, Autektone, IAMT, Agile Recordings, Orange Recordings our secon label MKT Records and many more. His music has been featured on Adam Beyer's Drumcode Radio as well and supported by big names like Monika Kruse, Ramon Tapia, A*S*Y*S and Roberto Capuano.

Bursting with ride & energy, the EP is opened with the title track that characterized with dark drums that are in perfect synergy with the synths and vocals. Epinephrine comes second on the list which carries on the darkness feeling with a warm groove and fast pace rhythm. Grimy completes this piece of techno with a big drop and a leading dark vocal.

Bringing energetic productions and heavy DJ sets as a standard, Belgian based producer Klaps is known to be a real electronic music enthusiast! His techno chops are laid bare on this new single release for Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label.

Markantonio reunites with Drumsauw as the pair unveil their five-track ‘Fusion’ EP on AnalyticTrail.

A longstanding name at the heart of the Neapolitan scene before his impressive emergence and career on the international circuit, Italian favourite Markantonio has been an artist leading the forefront of the techno scene for over two decades now. And yet, whether as an artist, a DJ or a label boss, he continues to impress as an artist evolving and shaping the sound of the genre’s future. After recently linking up with one another on Carlo Lio and Kareem Cali’s label On Edge Society in late 2022, he reunites with up-and-coming British techno figure Drumsauw for five more dynamic and impactful techno efforts as they return to Markantonio’s renowned AnalyticTrail imprint for their ‘Fusion’ EP.

Opening the package with authority, lead track ‘Emotions’ is a punchy and warping lead effort built for big moments, while ‘Slave’ keeps the energy high with snarling acid-flecked leads, eerie stabs and shimmering metallic hats throughout. Next, ‘Machine’ is an agile and lively effort which bounces between arpeggiated bass patterns and wonky synth melodies, before title track ‘Fusion’ is another heavy-hitting effort built for peak hours and resounding kicks go to work beneath trippy vocal snippets and sharp percussion licks. To close, the pair don’t hold back with final effort ‘Chromatic’ - a bouncy and poignant techno effort with a soulful flair made for all hours of the night.

We are happy to have Ugur Project back on Tronic. This time around he delivered three tracks showcasing his groovy and energetic sound! "Tenax" is hypnotic, and with hard groove elements, while "Ready To Rave" is a more obvious peak-time affair. ''Desolate'' is a good vibe groover to finish off this well-crafted release!

Markantonio’s record label, AnalyticTrail presents a 13-track dark and driving techno compilation.

The release features a selection of AnalyticTrail regulars such as Drumsauw, Filtrack, Luca Gaeta and Netty Hugo, alongside numerous artists making their record label debut including the likes of Melvin Spix, Filippo Peschi, AnDe Trois & MODUL 04, NILO.R, Dani Sbert, Mihono, Greg Notill, Matthew Sama and Kleber.

Many of the artists who feature on this release have dropped tracks and remixes via other prestigious record labels such as Planet Rhythm, Tronic, Codex, KD RAW, Kraftek, Unrilis and JAM.

Covering a wide range of styles, the compilation ranges from hypnotic grooves with modulating synth lines to cuts that focus on brutal percussion. All of the tracks have immersive atmosphere and high-velocity rhythms that are tailor-made for the dance floor.

What does techno look like in its purest form? Clear in its structure. Credible in its message. With an insistent beat in the background. With its heart in the right place. And its melody in the tips of the never-ending goosebumps.Those who know, are aware of that. Those who can, do it. At Complexed Records they've only been doing just that since 2014. But they do it with a sound that embodies such determination that it could just as well come from the good old days in the beginning. That's primarily down to label boss Drumcomplex, who in this short period and with very few artists has established a reputation that has projected virtually every new release into the playlists of the major players.
