UK techno duo Dense & Pika’s ‘Delta System’ gets the remix treatment for 2023, with HE.SHE.THEY. resident SYREETA channelling some sterling breakbeat vibes on this new mix. 

SYREETA is an authentic, fearless and inclusive artist who has played at numerous iconic parties like Music On, Paradise, Elrow and Circo Loco, along with playing at multiple festivals including Creamfields, Kappa Futur, Parklife and Coachella. 

On the production side, SYREETA released her first solo EP in 2023 on the HE.SHE.THEY. imprint, and recently released a remix on Frank Storm's new label Crunch. 

SYREETA certainly adds her own authenticity to this Dense & Pika classic, and takes the original into a more chugging and deeper groove.

Amidst screens, so many screens, this album is a journey through magnified, mirrored universes, where the hyperreal surrounds us. We are haunted by magnetic noise, while multiverse plots and virtualized Renaissance paintings (or “Nazi paintings”) vie for our attention.
In this complex landscape, we find ourselves in an open field where 10,000 beings incessantly discuss points, flaws, races, knots. The confusion is such that often only emptiness remains, invading solitude, questioning: Which one will I be?
This is the search for a route. The path is short, hurried with calm, avoiding noise and reevaluating positions. The pen moves quietly to find meaning, even when only zero remains.
The album proposes retracing routes and paths: from digital to parchment, in an attempt to keep proportions and reevaluate positions and find the soul among what is subtext, spatial note. An exploration of the noble human, the poor nightcloth in times of resounding atrocious words and damp weights and measures.

What does techno look like in its purest form? Clear in its structure. Credible in its message. With an insistent beat in the background. With its heart in the right place. And its melody in the tips of the never-ending goosebumps.Those who know, are aware of that. Those who can, do it. At Complexed Records they've only been doing just that since 2014. But they do it with a sound that embodies such determination that it could just as well come from the good old days in the beginning.
