Sofian is a German DJ and music producer who began his career in the early 2000s. His distinctive sound combines hypnotic soundscapes with modern influences drawn from classic techno and house. Over the years, he has supported renowned artists such as Amelie Lens, Sven Väth, and Len Faki, earning widespread recognition. A defining moment in his career was winning the prestigious International Panama DJ Contest in Bonn in 2017.
Sofian's productions have been released on respected labels like Tronic, Phobiq, and Sous Music, gaining support from leading figures in the electronic music scene, including Anja Schneider, Sasha, John Digweed, Christian Smith, Karotte, and Sama Abdulhadi, to name just a few.
In addition, Sofian is a regular guest DJ at iconic venues such as Tanzhaus West in Frankfurt and Basement in Wiesbaden. With his captivating DJ sets and innovative, self-produced tracks, he continues to mesmerize audiences and is a sought-after performer at festivals, clubs, and a wide range of events.

And in the process he and his label have themselves grown to become a major force.It's as if Complexed Records hit the nerve of an age which was not openly calling out for a powerful breath of techno past, yet still seems relieved to hear it. Or rather, to absorb it. Who would have thought a few years ago that once again a new techno label would be established and experience such a meteoric rise. But let's leave the past in peace.
