It doesn't take much convincing to know that Brazil is one of the true platforms for timeless music. Since the early days of MPB, we have been blessed by the likes of Elis Regina, Edu Lobo, Vinícius de Moraes, Jorge Ben, Caetano Veloso, Djavan and many more. We could go on, and expand further into the libraries of samba, funk, disco, boogie and beyond, but basically, all these various forms are united by an universal thread of love, struggle, warmth and groove.
Proper forward, and here we are with our most recent discovery in the shape of a prolific talent, NeguimBeats. Again, as with all of our artists, he moves seamlessly between different styles, creating Hip-hop, Modern funk cuts and tough Trap numbers with the same flow and efficiency. Yet they all pay homage to his roots, which ultimately defines him as a true individual.
His debut Ep, entitled 'Sweet Life' on Darker Than Wax is scheduled to drop late August, and we can assure you that it will be a keeper. Oh, did we mention he's only 20?

For this session we have our man Jay Prince who is representing East London as our special guest. I was able to sit down with him in the Red Bull Studio in New York during our TSOT North America tour last month. He's one of my favorite artists in the game right now. 

I literally have been taking this show with me wherever I go. It's been one of the toughest to record, in fact it took me 4 different sessions to finish it due to all the moving around.

About the album:

"Lost and Found" is a moving and finely detailed album by PNFA, the musical project of German artist Wolfram Gruss. Known for his reflective and atmospheric style, Gruss delivers a collection that blends downtempo, chillout, and trip hop with cinematic and electro-acoustic elements, resulting in a rich, immersive sound.

Most of the tracks are instrumental, unfolding slowly through layered textures, ambient tones, and subtle rhythmic patterns. Each composition is carefully arranged, showcasing a strong focus on sound design and emotional nuance. The music feels organic and spacious, balancing electronic precision with a warm, human touch.

Alongside the instrumentals, the album features several vocal pieces that add lyrical weight and emotional clarity. These songs deal with themes of love, separation, and the emotional complexity of letting go, offering a contrast to the abstract mood of the instrumental tracks.
