He offers the rare combination of talent in composition and orchestration along with excellence in the technical areas of music production, engineering, and mastering. 

Gardiner co-founded two prominent recording studios, PAJAMA Studios, which he built with business partner Paula Telander in Jack London Square of Oakland, California in 1993 and Live Oak Studios of Berkeley, California in 1981. PAJAMA is recognized as Oakland’s first world-class commercial recording facility.

Gardiner also founded in 2006, Gardiner Music Mentoring (GMM), providing personalized mentorship, hands-on curriculum with world-class special mentors.
