Here comes the first of three remix packages for A08’s “Waiting For Zion” album.
The peruvian maestros Dengue Dengue Dengue! present a highly energetic broken beat rework of “Nineoneone” with a tropical twist. 
Nerk, musician and co-founder of Berlin’s supergroup Toktok delivers a brilliantly crafted uptempo electro dub version of „Yamahaica". 

Dengue Dengue Dengue! is a musical duo of electronic music from Peru established in Lima, made up of Rafael Pereira and Felipe Salmon. The highly contagious duo have brought a new level of tropical madness to the cumbia world, fusing modern production savvy with traditional rhythms. Their early tracks caught the ears of bloggers and DJs around the world but it wasn’t until their 2012 debut album, La Alianza Profana, that they really received worldwide recognition. Together with the Auxiliar Collective, they have cornered the market in neon tropical bass exports.

Nerk, aka Benjamin Weiss, a member of the legendary Berlin rave act Tok Tok has a long, extensive history in the techno community. As well as a writer for formerly leading German music magazine De:Bug, he has a long recording history collaborating with Dirk Leyers on Kompakt, Klang, V-Records and many remixes to his credit.

About the “Waiting For Zion” album:
Caribbean, jazz, afro, reggae the full spectrum of world music ingeniously and ingeniously fused with electronica. A08 is the brainchild of the two Berliners Dirk Leyers and DJ Nomad. Formerly known as "AFRICAINE 808" – the studio/live music project with an album and various EPs on NYC’s Golf Channel Recordings and Vulcandance. 

AFRICAINE 808 started as an experiment where the two succeeded in the amalgamation of rhythmic world music heritage with the zeitgeist and aesthetics of electronic dance music.
After ten successful years touring the globe as a live music project, a praised double album, 5 EPs and remix work for legends like Tony Allen, Amadou & Mariam among many others, the two decided to re-invent their sound for a new album, exploring Jazz and Caribbean music among their "classic" working genres of electronic world dance music.
For the production, A08 included an illustrious crowd of guests into the band line-up, featuring artists from Colombia, Ghana, Kenya, Trinidad and Germany.
The outcome is "Waiting for Zion", a double album that will be released on Compost Records in winter 2023.
As a live P.A. A08 are performing either as a Soundsystem with Dirk Leyers and DJ Nomad playing live and DJing, or as a live act with live percussion.

here we bring the second edition of remixes of the release we prepared a few months ago in which several artists from different countries presented us the magnificent theme of ‘Bonsai’.

Roswell brother, Cali Burton, Xcentrico, H and Playa del Karma were the original artists of the work.

In this second edition we bring a remix pack to accompany this great release.

Lanowa brings to life one of his best works so far. The “Hypnotic” EP, coming soon on the délicieux French label Citizens Of Vice, lives up to its name and distills its spell through four stunning originals filled with sophistication and elegance. The batch showcases the another-level production skills of the Nottingham-based artist and will surely be the original soundtrack to many happy memories from the beach and pool parties' season of the European summer. 

Previously seen on Late Night Tales, Café Del Mar Music, RH2, Paper Recordings, and Citizens itself, Lanowa is one of those producers who manage to have a signature sonority without sounding repetitive. Freshness and originality are the norm and result in a second-to-none collection of well-constructed House meets Disco on the corner of Balearic Avenue.  

The title track, premiered here, follows the acknowledged recipe and opens the release with a classy gait delivered by mellow piano riffs, deep vocals, and a sexy saxophone intervention. The icing on the cake: Shards of Lo-Fi House add a special touch to this mesmerising and captivating beauty.

First released back in 2013, You Man's debut EP Restless -and its lead track Birdcage- launched the career of French duo Tepat Huleux and Giac Di Falco, kickstarting a decade of stunning live shows played all around the globe and acclaimed releases and remixes on labels such as as Tronik Youth’s NEIN, Boston Bun’s Circa’99 and Eskimo Recordings. Now, to celebrate their first ten years in the game Huleux and Di Falco have revisited their debut EP, and this time they've brought along some of the many friends they've made over the past decade.

With its chugging 109 bpm beat and a melody that switches from throbbing minimalism to something tantalisingly close to a full-on Ibiza sunrise moment, the EP's lead track Birdcage has never strayed too far from discerning DJs record bags but across several new versions here we get to see it reinterpreted in thrilling new ways.

The 'Sail We Must' EP by Irish producer Signa Rust draws inspiration from Alfos, reflecting a mutual appreciation for slower-paced sounds around the 100/110bpm mark. Crafted primarily with analog gear, it's a track that embodies hope and is dedicated to Signa's late father. The saying "fail we may, sail we must," an old fisherman's adage, resonates throughout the work, honoring his lifelong career in the industry. The opening track unfolds with a 303 and a uniquely twisted synth arp, then shifts gears with the introduction of strings, infusing the piece with a sense of hope and serene joy. '13.0 TeV' begins with the characteristic 808 percussion sounds, mingled with dubby samples that create a Rastafarian ambiance, followed closely by the 303's simmering acidity, before escalating with a distorted pad sequence. The EP concludes with Will Flisk's remix of '13.0 TeV'.
