For those who were asking what the mysterious mix that was put on after the DJs stopped playing outside at the Life and Death party in Art Basel, here it is. A mellow trip prepared by Greg from Thugfucker and presented here as a little thank you from all of us at Life and Death. 

It's been an amazing year and we're so very appreciative of all the support we've gotten as we've adventured forwards on this incredible musical trip together. We've got lots of exciting things planned for the year ahead (and beyond!) and we look forward to continuing together on this ride wherever it takes us.

Anders Trentemøller is one of those artists that can live up to the description of "trademark sound". Since his poll-bothering debut release in 2006 ('The Last Resort'), the Copenhagen based musician has been drawing on his love of 80s/ 90s indie and using that distinctive personal motif on his intricate electronic productions. After pioneering his own full live show he has now notched up over 300 appearances, and still found time to get to his fourth studio album. 'Fixion' was released earlier this year and sees him refine his sound, and yet add some organicity and more traditional song structure to the release. As he comes to the end of a sold-out tour, Anders has provided us with a delicate and ghostly mix for the start of your week and gives us some brief answers to some nosey questions.

Next month we're opening a store in Cologne, which just so happens to be the hometown of our guest DJ, Marcus Worgull (@marcusworgull). It's safe to say that Worgull's work is very diverse: it ranges from the deepest house-cuts on Berlin's famous Innervisions label, to synth-heavy ambient productions as 'Vermont' (Marcus Worgull + Motor City Drum Ensemble).
