Berlin-based DJ, music producer and student of philosophy Wankelmut is back with a new track: “Wasted So Much Time”. The track follows his 2013 singles “Wood & Wine” and “My Head Is a Jungle”, which was recorded with singer Emma Louise and released via Poesie Musik on January 18th, 2013. (...) The EP will also contain an extended vocal version as well as five remixes: one remix each by N’to, Kiwi and Danish music producer Kölsch, whose version will be aired on trndmusik for the first time ever. Besides, Jacob Dilßner (Wankelmut’s real name) produced a Deep mix and an instrumental version. The EP will be in stores from April 7th, 2014 onwards.

Mit dem Stück "Wasted So Much Time" meldet sich der in Berlin lebende DJ und Musikproduzent Wankelmut zurück. Das Werk ist der Nachfolger seiner Singles "Wood & Wine" sowie "My Head Is a Jungle", die im letzten Jahr mit der Sängerin Emma Louise aufgenommen wurde und am 18. Januar 2013 via Poesie Musik erschien. (...) Jeweils eine eigene Version steuern der dänische Produzent Kölsch, dessen Remix auf trndmusik Premiere feiert, N’to und Kiwi bei. Jacob Dilßner, der bürgerliche Name Wankelmuts, kreierte zudem einen Deep-Mix und eine Instrumental-Version. Die EP ist ab dem 7. April 2014 im Handel erhältlich.

The kickoff track 'Foolish''s overtly nostalgic vocal hook evokes a sunset scene built up through hypnotic synths just before breaking down into a full-on immersive dance craze. Picking up the pace with zippy synths, Koletzki & Schwind twist the track into a late night trance infused anthem.
'Modest Monuments' takes us on another misty sounding journey backed up by a haunting bass-line and spheric vocals. On 'You Would Not Believe' we delve deeper into the estival ambience, with a boost of rolling tribal vocals highlighting the pulsating big-room bass, while Lars Moston's remix takes it to the other end of the spectrum, stealing the spotlight with trumpet instilled synths that overshadow the vocals.

Ursprünglich war Frank Sinatras „Moonlight Serenade“ namensgebend für das neue Album von @einmusik. „Ich hatte den Refrain tagelang im Ohr und inhaltlich passte die „Serenade“ zu meinen schon fertigen Songs“, gesteht der gebürtige Bielefelder. Am Anfang wollte er auch ein Album mit nur fünf bis sieben Stücken machen: „Da ich aber einen so reichhaltigen und diversen Output über die Frühling und Sommerzeit hatte, entschieden wir uns, ein Doppelalbum zu machen, eine Serenade mit „Movement I“ und „Movement II“.“ Die ersten sieben Songs sind klar strukturiert und für Clubs und Open Airs gedacht. Die letzten fünf Stücke sind musikalisch im Ambient-Genre angesiedelt. (...) Der Longplayer erscheint auf @einmusika-recordings. (...)
