Brad's induction to underground electronic music came at a Sunday afters held in an abandoned auto repairs unit in East London. There he was introduced to some of the genuine masters of stylish, understated and elegant techno and house DJing: Christian AB, Junki Inoue & Sunday Afters founder Rob James. Inspired by this approach, they remained key influences to this day.

Brad is one of the youngest of the new crop of ‘digger’ DJs, who is gradually making his name through sharing his personal interpretations of the history of electronic dance music. Often blending seamlessly between techno, breaks, acid, electro, progressive house, tech house, downtempo and more.  His sets can often be unpredictable and unique, which always keeps the dancefloor guessing what’s next. With a focus on obscurity, many of his selections are in fact b sides (hence the name). Unafraid to go against trends, Brad aims to play music that stands the test of time. You will often hear music from all the decades in his sets ranging from the 80s 90s 00s to current. This vast collection allows brad to effortlessly match the energy to the setting. Whether it’s warmup or peak time, warehouse or intimate space, brad has a track for any location at any time.

When brad isn’t digging for records he’s working on his own productions. He has several releases on bandcamp, featuring Andy’s orbit and 5th sphere achieving support from Truly Madly, Bonus Dub, IN-FJ and many more.

Starting the illustrious after, after party Push:On in 2007 with the Push:On Crew, Danny Matthews had humble beginnings until Push:On were invited to host the after party once a month at the world famous Back to Basics, Leeds. Here he cut his teeth being educated by the best residents and guests in the world.

Over the years Danny has warmed up for selectors such as Derrick Carter, Inland Knights, DJ EASE of Nightmares on Wax, Buckley, Frenchy, Mark Farina, Miguel Campbell and many more. He has held it down at Ketoloco, Distrikt, Basing House, The Horse & Groom, Just Jack Bristol, Upgrade, Pikes Ibiza, Sheeps and performing at Festivals such as Glastonbury, Glade, Fieldtrip, Burning Man and Secret Garden Party on the “Drop Stage”. He also hosts a monthly online radio show called Push:On Radio where he pushes local talent. Expect House Music, Funk, Reggae Music, Dub and all things groovy…
