Emma Louise has been some how chosen by Wankelmut. It has been the DJ from Berlin who brought her to Europe from Perth, Australia. And he has been the first that after his huge remix success of Asaf Avidan “One Day / Reckoning Song”, chose “Jungle” and turned it into another success, “My Head is a Jungle”. Emma Louise also released her first album “VS HEAD VS HEART” and “Boy” is her second single. It’s a sweet and sad song at the same time, one of Emma’s favourites, tied to a deep and true love that suddenly disappeared. The Original track is released together with five remixes, so different and so close in giving “Boy” a more solid club and radio background. Shanghai Beat-Vicio Rmx has born thanks to Luca “Vicio” Vicini. He is a producer and the bass player of Subsonica, the Italian cult band. Vicio has lately released on EGO his new project and track Shanghai Beat “All The Time In The World”. The second remix is by Spada, the Italian DJ and producer that starting from underground music panorama succeeded in being played by the Major League of Music Scene. Among the others: Benny Benassi, Sister Bliss, Chris Lake, Steve Aoki. The third remix is by Talul, a Dresden born producer, son of a German mother and a Lebanese father. His solo project is all about electronic and he shares his booking agency with Wankelmut. We should keep an eye on this young producer. Closing the remix package there are two pearls by Carl Fath and Fausto Fanizza from Starchaser, including a guitar line that will get itself talked about for a long time. Together these remixes write a beautiful interpretation of Emma Louise “Boy”. The northern-southern connection doesn’t stop here.

Modulearth are a new duo from Milan made up of Nicolas Meyer and Luca Vertulli; a hugely accomplished production outfit, which really shows in the music.

Nicolas is 22 years old, has studied piano for 16 years at the hands of the acclaimed Massimo Colombo, while Luca is 27, has long been playing synths and making analogue sounds and is the architect of Modulearth, who have been collaborating since January 2015.

Introducing us to Modulearth, Apparel Music serves up four magical tracks with five great remixes, plus mastering by Lopazz and cover design by Andrea Contin.

Phonique (@phonique) lands back in the sweet spot with a series of remixes of one of the standout tracks on his 'Green Supreme' album. 'Something Special' - featuring the vocal talents of Ian Whitelaw, was always ripe for reworks - and this package doesn’t disappoint. 

Opening with Phonique’s own club mix, the track is tweaked into a dancefloor bomb - exhibiting all the light and shade he has always been a master of. The mix is both epic and emotional, and will be doing some serious damage over the coming months.

Munich based DJ/Producer and label owner Nhan Solo (@nhan-solo) drops a tougher mix - bringing a rough, Chicago - influenced edge to the rhythms and still giving the track plenty of space for Whitelaw’s vocals.

The Black 80s (@theblack80s) remix flips the script totally and brings out the synth pop roots of the track, marrying Whitelaws’ soulful vocals with a bubbling, summer vibe.

Sam Shure (@samshure) - a regular at Berlin underground spaces such as Sisyphos and Salon zur wilde Renate, releasing on Katermukke - brings his own distinct flavor to his mix- supplying it with plenty of tech house magic to work on every dancefloor.

Born in 1983 in Liège, Belgium, Maxime Firket grew up surrounded by music. He studied music theory and classical music at the Academy and did not choose the easy route by opting to study the cello. "A demanding and monodic instrument which forces you to find the right sound and the right note to make yourself heard. My cello background is still useful to me today." As an adolescent, he dreamt of playing in a rock group, but also discovered Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Detroit techno. After having created his own studio and put together a few mixes on a Roland Compuphonic synthesiser (yes, that’s where the name comes from...), Maxime soon found himself behind the decks at Dirty Dancing nights in Brussels and recorded his first tracks for Dirty Dancing Recordings. In 2006, his reputation exploded on the dance floor with the groovy "Emotion", produced in collaboration with Tiga and released on his label ‘Turbo Recordings’.
 
Compuphonic’s dedication and elaborateness delivers spontaneous productions of hedonistic house. Natural, open to large spaces, ambitious but always accessible. Handling music as the art form it is. Alternating complicated with simple pieces, electronic with organic, light with dark, ease with emotional, celebration with pondering. Telling a different, but in its way even more exciting new tale, time and time again.
 
His underground hit “Sunset” ft Marques Toliver reached over 10 000 000 views (and counting) on YouTube and got support on BBC Radio 1 by Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Rob Da Bank and key media / blogs.
 
More recently his releases ’Radio Atlantis’ and ‘The Sun Does Rise’ on Berlin’s  super label Exploited Records  have picked up great support by radio stations and bloggers worldwide and after playing shows at Pukkelpop, Dour Festival, Eurosonic, SXSW, Sonar Festival, Monegros,, he's set to become one of Europe's best known too.
 
His new EP “My Love” is expected mid November on Exploited Records. In the meantime  we invite you to have a listen to his  popular “Tales” (mixtape) episodes on Soundcloud.
