The 261th release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint welcomes Monojoke back to the label with the remix EP of "Awakenings". The two originals already got released a year ago. Marcelo Paladini and Adam Nathan got invited to do a remix.

PREMIERE: Monojoke - Tranquility (Adam Nathan Remix) [3rd Avenue]

I was feeling like a singing bird when I wrote Passeri.
The track was born in a time of pointlessness and lack of inspiration for me. I was contemplating if a bird ever had writer’s block and couldn’t sing for a while? Maybe that helped me to understand that it’s completely fine to have phases like these, where there is no creative output.
It was my struggle with the imposed pressure of a society where your value is measured by productivity.  But I want to be free instead - after all, that’s why I chose to be a musician.
So I stopped pushing blocks in Ableton and went outside to clear my mind. Recording the sound of my steps, the singing birds, the ambient sounds of Berlin. This inspired me to pick up my guitar and play without much thinking.

Continuing their ascent through the organic house underground, Mariner + Domingo return to Madloch's 3rd Avenue with a new three track showcase. 3rd and Sound Avenue has become somewhat of a home base for the talented American duo. A cross section of Mariner + Domingo's most beloved tracks have come courtesy of the long-standing imprint, most notably Le' Carnival', Edenwilde' and Another Life', the latter of which earned play, support and a Beatport chart feature from world class DJ and All Day I Dream boss Lee Burridge. Now as the world looks towards a period of rejuvenation, with dancefloors taking on new levels of satisfaction after an extended silence, Mariner + Domingo charm us once again with three stunning tracks across their latest 3rd Avenue vehicle 'Floating'.

Soul Button takes the helm once again with ‘Master of my Fate’. Featuring 4 tracks, his latest coup is an exercise in the beauty of dissonance. 
‘Master of my Fate’ is a haunting track bound to polarize. Detuned to breaking point, a resonant pad sets the scene for a mesmerizing vocal that intertwines with the synths to create an eerie layer of ethereal melancholia. A tom-ridden groove and impatient cymbals provide the groundwork for the breathtaking soundscapes unfolding above.
A compact kick drum introduces the listener to ‘Secret Sense’. Percussive resonant stabs and pads emerge, build, and recede in waves of warmth, finally giving in to an epic lead. ‘Secret Sense’ is a track of ebb and flow, gradually pulling the listener in and out as the highs and lows play an enticing game of hide and seek.
‘Illumine’ returns to blissful dissonance. Detuned keys are at the center of this heart wrenching track, while a smattering of rides seems to merge with an array of glittering synthesizers. ‘Illumine’ hits the listener in the soul and is reminiscent of beauty in the darkest of places.
‘Paramour’ is the groover of the pack. A rapid beat of nuanced tambourines, congas and percussives unfolds gradually, accompanied by an emotive and slowly evolving pad. Bells, guitars and horns enter the fray to create an ethnic soundscape drawing on a wealth of musical heritage in limbo between east and west.
With ‘Master of my Fate’, Soul Button demonstrates that he’s not afraid to push his artistic boundaries and take his signature style to new and unexpected places.

Born in 1983 in Liège, Belgium, Maxime Firket grew up surrounded by music. He studied music theory and classical music at the Academy and did not choose the easy route by opting to study the cello. "A demanding and monodic instrument which forces you to find the right sound and the right note to make yourself heard. My cello background is still useful to me today." As an adolescent, he dreamt of playing in a rock group, but also discovered Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Detroit techno. After having created his own studio and put together a few mixes on a Roland Compuphonic synthesiser (yes, that’s where the name comes from...), Maxime soon found himself behind the decks at Dirty Dancing nights in Brussels and recorded his first tracks for Dirty Dancing Recordings. In 2006, his reputation exploded on the dance floor with the groovy "Emotion", produced in collaboration with Tiga and released on his label ‘Turbo Recordings’.
 
Compuphonic’s dedication and elaborateness delivers spontaneous productions of hedonistic house. Natural, open to large spaces, ambitious but always accessible. Handling music as the art form it is. Alternating complicated with simple pieces, electronic with organic, light with dark, ease with emotional, celebration with pondering. Telling a different, but in its way even more exciting new tale, time and time again.
 
His underground hit “Sunset” ft Marques Toliver reached over 10 000 000 views (and counting) on YouTube and got support on BBC Radio 1 by Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Rob Da Bank and key media / blogs.
 
More recently his releases ’Radio Atlantis’ and ‘The Sun Does Rise’ on Berlin’s  super label Exploited Records  have picked up great support by radio stations and bloggers worldwide and after playing shows at Pukkelpop, Dour Festival, Eurosonic, SXSW, Sonar Festival, Monegros,, he's set to become one of Europe's best known too.
