The sudden death of rock drummer Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) prompted me to write this song. While preparing for a live performance, life may abruptly end, symbolized by the lyrics “a snare without a rhythm”.
Arpeggiated flat5/major7 chords open the song, creating an uneasy feel as if something is about to happen. The unexpected song's ending symbolizes that “fate cut another ribbon”.

i must write i am not so proud of the beginning of this track but i've had to find a way to start and launch it ! 
Live performance with computer mouse, without monitors only laptop loudspeaker hem ^^" mix and "global ready mastering" were done a long time ago with aiwa hi fi and maybe Beyerdynamics dt 770.

Quand je regarde intensément mon chat pendant qu'il dort, je vois bien qu'il reve... qu'il reve, oui, mais à quoi? est ce que les chats revent comme nous? et si c'était le cas, quel reve aurai je aimé (aurait il aimé) mettre en musique? et je me suis pris d'imaginer son aventure spatiale, dans un univers psychedelique ou rien ne peut etre sérieux puisque reve... et que vive le burlesque! RISE

Energy music, mostly instrumentals on computer, sometimes i create full live tracks with computer mouse, sometimes step by step DAW edits, rarely collabs and rarely instruments playing. I used to sample some free downloadable tracks in the past, so I express respect to the creators.
Another fun consists to create next version of old tracks.

I don't claim to be a professional but I still aspire to be recognized as an Artist. I have to be honest, i rarely make music but i am able to listen obsessively some favorite tracks . The problem is : if i love a track and i listen it 600 times, it means thousand minutes which are spent in comfort, and i know i have to allow my time in more productive activities. like learning more about productions, and to listen more actual stage performers.. 
indeed, I would like to improve more. to share the best of me. and it has a context... best tracks not always happens.. it depends of what i live. 
I create when i have an idea. I never force me to create because there is no passion in a forced sound (in my case). 

I used to express some moods on screen during a few years..

My goal is to release quality music,  and i know i have to invest me seriously in my artistic direction.
