I instantly knew that I -had- to do Hands Up for "Star". It's the genre I started out making waayy back in 2008 and it's got a special place in my heart. I really hope I did this ancient genre justice with this <3

(fun fact: if you scroll down waayy far, my first upload on this soundcloud is actually my, until now, latest attempt at Hands Up, which was 8 years ago!! Holy crap lol)

I think this is my most ambitious one yet. It's not as polished as a lot of my other tracks, but it's like... a full thing. And yea, "Flowing" made me instantly think of old-fashioned trance so that's what we have today. I hope it's not too tiring lol

For this one, I planned to cheat a little bit so I had proper time to implement my idea. Then I ended up cheating a lot because I mistook this for day 3's prompt instead of day 4, so I made up for it by getting wildly stressed out and needing days off from doing most things. welp

Decided to try and use the "freeze" prompt in several fun ways. Most obvious one is the kinda cold, chilly vibes (also known as bitcrusher and reverb), but the second, more fun one is the choppy nature of the chords. Did that by freezing tracks and playing around with them. Hope you enjoy! c:
