Right Before Anxiety

This song is about my bipolar disorder. Over the past few months, I've been pulling myself out of a really depressive state and have learned so much. I feel like such a happier person (Not just because of the mania) because of what I've learned. The problem with where I'm at is that I've been feeling a lot of anxiety (Due to mania). This song expresses that I'm doing so well, but there's always the threat of anxiety striking.

In the chorus, I talk about how if I don't take care and control this mania, I'll burn myself out and crash into a depressive state worse than most. I've been on such a high for so long that I'm afraid that the next flip is going to crush me. A part of me wants to just run with the mania and see how far it takes me. It would feel so great for a short period of time, and I want that instant gratification. However, I know that will only lead to me getting emotionally hurt (And possibly physically as well). I also feel like if I ride this high without caution I'll end up forgetting all the lessons I've learned that's put me in the mental state I'm in right now.

There are lyrics to this track, however this is to be released at a later date, maybe.

I wrote this track when I was at my lowest I think I've ever been to date, it's undergone so many changes and I'm finally at a point now where I'm happy with the backtrack. The lyrics have been scrutinised so much and modified, as with the vocals to a point where I'm not sure if the full track will be published.

As the name suggests, this is a song about breakup, heartbreak and everything that comes with it - anxiety, depression and self loathing.

There's a few bops on my profile - or so I'm told. My best work is anything 2024 onwards but the older work is still on here as a reminder of where I started and where I'm going with music.

When I'm in the zone, it's so much fun! I do like to take my tie with what I make, though I can't say it's anything professional that I make.

I've started to expand from just telling a story through titles, descriptions and a track with no lyrics, to including some lyrics! I'm very new to actually singing over a track, thankfully I have a few friends helping though so I'm not sounding like nails on chalkboard. Now just muffled nails on chalkboard so not as bad :D
