Sunrise Set at Rainbow Lightning Burning Man 2022 (DOWNTEMPO)

Kicking off the week with this groovy psychedelic soundscape set played by Safak OzKutle AKA “Oceanvs Orientalis” is a formation which aims to challenge the aesthetic perception in electronic music.

It blends itself with the archaelogic tunes of mankind’s cumulative musical history and in this very context believes that “everything comes from the east”.

Despite of being an electronic-based formation -due to practical reasons- at the moment, it intends to transform into a dance (to move the body and feet to music) orchestra where each instrument will be played by its own instrumentalist.

It was a Saturday afternoon, after a full day of dancing and connection we found ourselves going crazy to the tribal beats of Lemurian in The Dark Side Of The Moon stage. We witnessed how he controlled the crowd in ways we can't explain, we saw an intense ball of energy grow exponentially with every second of his set. We danced like there was no tomorrow.

It was beautiful. It was magic. And we can't be more happy today to be sharing this gift with all of you.

Despite the increased commercialism and popularity of Tulum, the magic does indeed still exist there, especially on the beach.  We certainly felt the energy during our Sol Selectas showcase, and the 5 days that followed, taking in the sunshine and positive vibes  this sacred land provides, to those who stop to be present, and listen.  I hope you will enjoy this 2nd chapter into deep tropical balearic grooves, crafted with relaxation intentions, hoping to cause inner peace and outer smiles. ~ Sabo

The symbiosis between MoM and Álvaro Suárez had been gaining traction since the pair started spending time together over the summer of 2020, resulting in a free-fire exchange of ideas that takes us from the classically inspired to acid house, disco, funk, and beyond in this end-of-summer set recorded live at Scorpios on August 11th.
