My dear friends

I am happy to share my live recordings of one of the most magical night of my career so far.
I was invited to play in Oaxaca, Mexico together with Acid Pauli during 'Day of the dead' on 31st of oct 2015.
We played in some kind of old spanish church in the middle of the night. Because it was ‘the day of the death’ everybody was dressed like skelletons. They painted me as my dog Rivaldo, that passed away 3 months ago.
You can imagine playing in Mexico in a temple, on the day of the dead, with Acid Pauli, in front of Skelletons, while I was painted like my Rivaldo (and Martin had some kind of Jezus outfit) was pretty magical.

So I am excited to share with you the live recordings of this night.
I want to thank Mariana, ALKEMY and gem&bolt party w/ guest mezcal Amores and Meteoro to set up this night.
And all the people who came to show: you really made that temple come alive again!!

Huge thanks to White Ocean for making one of my dreams a reality. This year was my very first Burn… And if you met me on the playa, you know how much fun I had! For those who know me well, this experience was really powerful. I discovered a new part of myself, artistically and socially. And this set at White Ocean was very special. I was supposed to play a 3 hours live set but for many reasons I wasn’t able to do so…  So I improvised a kind of hybrid set remixing and editing some tracks in live. I had never done such a thing before and it was totally insane! Right after I started a big dust storm hit the playa and we couldn't see a thing but it was unbelievable! So epic! The crowd was insane! It probably was the craziest set in my entire life! I will never forget this one. There is so much to say… Just be there.

Mir erschienen auf einmal all seine seltsamen Gewohnheiten, die bei den Leuten Unverständnis und Spott hervorriefen - seine Verträumtheit, seine Neigung zur Einsamkeit, seine Schweigsamkeit -, in einem anderen Licht. Ich wusste jetzt, warum er abendlang auf dem Wachthügel saß, warum er die Nächte einsam am Fluß verbrachte, warum er ständig nur ihm wahrnehmbaren Klängen nachlauschte und warum seine Augen zuweilen aufloderten und die Brauen sich plötzlich erwartungsvoll hoben. Das war ein Mensch, der eine tiefe Liebe in sich trug. Keine Liebe, das fühlte ich, wie man sie für einen anderen empfindet, sondern eine weit größere, die Liebe zum Leben, zur Erde. Ja, er verwahrte diese Liebe in sich, in seiner Musik, er lebte durch sie."

It was a Saturday afternoon, after a full day of dancing and connection we found ourselves going crazy to the tribal beats of Lemurian in The Dark Side Of The Moon stage. We witnessed how he controlled the crowd in ways we can't explain, we saw an intense ball of energy grow exponentially with every second of his set. We danced like there was no tomorrow.

It was beautiful. It was magic. And we can't be more happy today to be sharing this gift with all of you.
