Isobel Mai is a singer / songwriter from the south coast UK. Having studied music at Southampton Solent University she is embarking on a solo career in the music industry with her first self titled EP touching down in April ('11) which will be available to download from all good online retailers by June '11.

Her style of music is primarily of the acoustic variety but she often experiments with downtempo and electronic styles. 
She has worked with some of the best in the industry and has been compared vocally to none other than Dido. An artist who also enjoyed success blurring genre's and styles. 

Isobel performed a live PA on the Solent stage at Glade festival in 2009 which received critial acclaim from the numerous industry professionals who were in attendance. This added confidence spurred Isobel on and the first tracks from her forthcoming EP will be on Soundcloud shortly. 

Isobel's influences are diverse however her favourite inspirational artists include the likes of Adele, Imogen Heap, Zero 7 and Alucidnation.
