Concepto Hipnotico presents the last part of the VAs compilations albums for the celebration of the label's 10 years of life. In this album, we present a collaboration with Culto, the well-known cycle of Buenos Aires events.

This is a powerful selection of artists that need not be introduced, their names speak for themselves. The tracks range from Techno with detroit influences, through minimalist landscapes to the most raw and darkest techno.

Anomaly Detection 005 - Ka Hol

Next up, we have Dublin's export, Ka Hol. Now based in Amsterdam, he began his DJing career in 2021. Like many of us, he started with a basic controller, playing around with ripped tracks. After being introduced to techno by peers and friends, he decided to take it to the next level and began producing in 2023. After making his first track, he was instantly hooked.

This unhindered artist is not only inspired by amazing producers such as Alarico, Toru Ikemoto, The Sixth Sense, and Cult, but also draws from unconventional sources like the soundtrack from 1994’s Blade Runner. These inspirations are evident in his unique style, where he mixes deep and hypnotic sounds with heavy, drum-based, groovy techno elements, all while featuring seamless 3-deck mixing that maintains a steady level of energy throughout his sets. He transforms tracks by layering multiple elements, resulting in a hypnotic, cyberpunk-inspired style that I personally enjoy a lot!

Personally, I think Ka Hol and I share a lot of similarities in terms of track selection, style, and mixing techniques. It was no surprise that as soon as I heard his mixes and productions, I immediately knew I had to have him in my AD series. With his tracks being supported by the likes of Technoslave_69, Tommy Holohan, and Zondax, and being featured at events in Maastricht, Amsterdam, and Portugal, you should definitely keep an eye on this lad and his collective, re:code.

So, pop open a Guinness, sit back, relax, and enjoy this one-and-a-half-hour journey hosted by Ka Hol.
