Cocytus, meaning "the river of wailing“, is a river in the underworld in Greek mythology. It flows into the river Acheron, across which is the underworld, the mythological abode of the dead. Dante describes Cocytus in Inferno as being the home of traitors and those who committed acts of complex fraud. The river of wailing is divided into four arms:

Antenora, after Antenor from the Iliad; traitors to country.
Judecca, after Judas Iscariot; traitors to masters and benefactors.
Caina, after the Biblical Cain; traitors to blood relatives.
Ptolomea, after Ptolemy, governor of Jericho, who murdered his guests (1 Maccabees); traitors to guests.

Based on these assumptions COT labelhead HOURS crafted three pensive tracks, one of which was reinterpreted by Brian Sanhaji.

Hours makes a Death Techno debut appearance with a stunning live cut from a recent gig. The Concepts of Time label boss has seen his works released on top label such as Alex Bau's Credo, Mike Wall's Wall Music and Joachim Spieth's Affin for example. His set rides a line of deep, intelligent and progressive sounds, whilst later hitting a high gear and going more full throttle with plenty of twists, turns and surprises. Clearly a highly talented and skilled DJ, where being a resident at Lehmann Club in Stuttgart has enabled a tender understanding of the mixing craft...

Concepts of Time is ran by DJ and Producer HOURS from Stuttgart and has been making waves featuring artists such as Brian Sanhaji, Alex Bau, Luis Flores, Reggy Van Oers and many more.

The thirteenth episode features originals from Berliner and the return of Simo Lorenz known for contributions on Wall Music, Illegal Alien and Dolma Records amongst others.

Remixes from the label boss himself and a special guest in the form of Barcelona based Flug who is always on point and graced labels like Soma, CLR, Juan Sanchez’s FORMAT and Nachtstrom Schallplatten.

For this DT:Premiere it’s the Flug interpretation of “Space Programm” we focused on. Stripped back hypnosis is the order of the day, with plenty of atmosphere and perfect progressions that can suit a peak time set or to kick things up a gear in a transition with its contained, infectious energy.
