Junction Forest is a new label operated by Junction Records Store, out of Seoul. The first release is from our associate Tim a.k.a S.O.N.S and is a trance 3-tracker with a few twists.
It is titled after an (in)famous forest in the middle of Seoul, straightforwardly called... Seoul Forest.

Some words from S.O.N.S about the release:

So I got some complains about my last album, reportedly containing no danceable tracks,
"I tried to play it out and everybody left" said one angry customer. "I thought it sounded fine but it clears the floor 100%" wrote another one.

Well this time I took a different approach.

On the A side, you get Tteuggeopge (meaning "Hot" in Korean) - it's a mixture of acid techno and psy-trance breakdowns, with some vocal samples taken from an old Korean movie, a jazz intro and a long 9.09minutes build up (figures are never chosen randomly) which I hope won't let the dancefloor unmoved - if you dare to play it!
On the flip you get the ambient version... no! I was joking! you get 2 other trance tracks
Psychic Link is a mixture of Hard & Goa Trance sounds with breakbeats samples & a surprising deep tribal interlude in the middle to cool down the room for a minute.
And finally Snow White And The Seven Mushrooms is an angry bad tripping tribute to 90s progressive house sounds. Like if Robin S took too much acid and is haunted by some supernatural creatures.

[PREMIERE]  Psychic Link - S.O.N.S. | Junction Forest [2022]

This is the final dose of Pervocet. Pervocet is the brand name of the psychedelic music project from Patrick Russell and Jasen Loveland and is used to induce moderate to severe psychosis. The short-term effects of Pervocet last approximately 5-7 minutes and include Neighbor, Rawlo, L0V3 S1R3N, Phazy Susan and — in some people — a pleasant euphoria.

This is one of many projects featuring Jasen Loveland aka Andrew Smith aka ∞ that IT will continue to release in honor and memory of him and his incredible and prophetic musical vision, showcasing his many Infinite Refractions. This project had begun years ago, and was finished with such care and precision by Patrick Russell that we are proud to release Pervocet 2 in sync with our annual No Way Back gathering in Detroit on May 29, 2023.

British record label Ploy prepare to release their first album release from label head honcho Daryl Stay. Following a series of releases on Carl Cox's label Intec Digital and Octopus Black Label, Daryl Stay returns with his ultra-anticipated album 'Orbit'. Comprising of 10 warehouse-ready tracks, Stay sweeps listeners into monumental peaks of acid-infused minimal and deep techno before closing with a dark ambient outro. Today, we are pleased to premiere ‘Tribal‘ – a space-time blackout fusing tribal minimalism with high-speed techno. Kicking off with a constellation of ultra-filtered snares and kick-drums, psyched-out synth frequencies and spiralling hi-hats, the track culminates with a maelstrom of percussion at the mid-section.
