@radicalsoftness, a name which, at first sight, seems controversial and yet has a very much deeper meaning. Being a somewhat radical person when it comes to vouching for values such as the right of self expression, establishment of safer spaces and FLINTA visibility in the scene. On the other hand being a radical person stands and falls with the softest part of any human – the inner self. 

On the musical side of the coin, Radical Softness immediately evokes a sense of warmth and force at the same time, which again represents the artistic direction of the name itself. 
Powerful rhythmic patterns go hand in hand with mellow synths – together on a mission to invite dancers to reach the subconscious in an almost therapeutic way. 
Radical Softness introduces repetition to you as the means to escape daily sorrows, to feel again and gain a few hours of freedom from a seemingly fast-paced and cold outside world.

Radical Softness’ desire to be a DJ already subconsciously began in 2013 when they started working at a local bar, where they quickly became the one in charge of the music playlists. This marks the beginning of following a path down the rabbit hole into a new universe and into digging through artists entire discographies. 
Their move to Berlin in 2015 further shaped their vision of music. By that time Radical Softness was already asking people in their circle to show them how to DJ, but never felt welcome enough to actually dive head first into the blue. 

In 2019 the switch luckily flicked, they stepped behind the decks, quickly gained recognition, especially through them well-received sets on HÖR Berlin and combined their deep music collection with the ability to quickly grasp how DJing works from the core. And yet, what we hear right now is just the beginning of what Radical Softness has to offer.

Ich sags mal einfach so raus: Freut mich außerordentlich das es Euch freut wenn es uns freut das es Euch freut usw... Echt faire Unternehmung das Soundcloud :)) Da lacht das Musik-interessierte Herz :) HINWEIS FÜR DIE NETTEN MENSCHEN/DJs/PRODUCER etc.: In Gottes Namen benennt Eure freigestellten Tracks bzw. Sets doch auch bitte mit Namen wie DJsoundsoundso-After Party irgendwann im nirgendwo usw...!!!! Da Ihr ja alle werben wollt mit Euren Stücken wäre es echt angebracht daran zu denken das Ihr diese Geschenke auch ordentlich tituliert, ist mein Gedanke bei vielen downloadablen Stücken und dann kann ich, wenn mal auf der Platte gespeichert, leider oft nicht mehr sagen wer welch geilen Mix von Euch Meistern/innen all over the world gestiftet hat und teilweise wäre es aber angebracht, als Sammler aller edlen Sessions like yours are for example, auch sogleich möglichst noch viel mehr an Stücken von dem/derjenigen runtersaugen zu können was aber bei null Info (oft nicht einmal der DJ-Name!!)echt schwer möglich ist... lol Da fängt Werbung erst an... oder hört sogleich wieder auf... ;))  Und nachschauen nachträglich wird sich nie wer für eine Benennung eines Sets antun das der Namensträger nicht der Mühe wert fand zu signieren, auch klar. Na dann... ;)) Und mit der Bitte im Voraus auch weiterhin so verdammt dufte Muke zu produzieren/aufzulegen und dann zumindest teilweise frei zu geben! Ich höre mir nämlich mit Sicherheit jedes meiner 100 - 200.000 Sets zumindest einmal an und ehre jede gute DJ-Arbeit mit Freude am Hören und Mundpropaganda im engsten Freundeskreis bzw. wird fleissig mit meinen followern auf SC gechanged... Somit schließt sich der einzigartig gut dastehende Kreis der Soundcloud-User und jeder hat seine Freude dabei liebe Freunde der volkstümlichen Techno-Folklore und ähnlichem "Soundcloudsheaven"! So long! Rock on! Just use your brain (just try at least ;)!) and dont go scary or insane! RESPECT TO ALL DJs who make me often much happier than without the sets!! THX A LOT YOU DJ-FRIENDS ALL OVER THE WORLD! May the ryhthm be always with you ;) ... bless the rhythm and hope together people, that we let always the rhythm move us forward to enjoy also hot music on rockin partys with cool dancin people and funfunfun!...
