Orphic resident Thoms Traxx is totally in control of the next 75 minutes for Artaphine Series. One of the collectives of the Amsterdam underground that is slowly moving out the illegal rave scene while staying true to their core, this resident displays the more deeper side of the groovy domain. Next to the DJ work, he's also part of the Minimal Collective, that tries to blend the boundaries of music, visual and physical artistic styles. The dedication reflects the selection, so tune in.

For this edition of the mix series, we invited both DJ and producer Jan Goertz. His productions as well as his mixes are refined and versatile as he explores the different atmospheres and subgenres of techno. Inspired by the club culture as he believes techno is "functional and works for and in a club. That's what this music is made for." 

The mix showcases a selection of 48 tracks through an unconventional way of mixing by using loops to create unity. 4-deck mixing and playing with a variety of elements is how he keeps the listener on their toes. His soulful track selection and minimalist approach give this mix character.

Born and raised in the deserts of Cairo, Egypt, Technoslave69 grew up in a very conservative culture. In the search of freedom he relocated to Amsterdam where his musical career as an artist began to blossom. For him, techno has never just been a matter of musical taste; rather, it's a form of protest against the limitations on self-expression. Technoslave69's energetic and club-focused sound symbolizes his own journey towards liberation and his desire to inspire others.

Jan Goertz from Magdeburg has been developing his skills as both, DJ and producer for almost 10 years. Besides for his releases on DREPT, BCCO, Vitus' Curse, and he is also known for his residency at Adapter Event series in club Mauerpfeiffer, Saarbrücken.

Using a multitude of tracks, loops, stems, and merging them into his very own and unique understanding of Techno, the young talent keeps chasing for the endless groove whenever playing. Like a competition "with and against the machines“, his 4-deck-magic pushes the boundaries of DJing - spiked with trippy melodies, atonal soundscapes, noise, and deep rumbling grooves which are the source of his inspiration. Get ready for his latest 2-hours-blend in this very manner & enjoy!
