The following series was founded to acknowledge producers for their influence on shaping the sound in the electronic music genre while simultaneously showcasing the distinctive musical style of each artist, featuring both released and unreleased music in an all-original podcast format.

K92 aims to reintroduce a sense of mystery surrounding artists by bringing back the focus on the music itself and creating a blank slate for listeners to develop their own interpretations. As a result, the sets on this platform do not include any press photographs or biographies. Instead, each set has been personally signed by the artist to complete their signature sound.

For our 151st FrenzyPodcast we've invited the German artist, Jannik Aßfalg. Born and raised in Göppingen, under the smoke of Stuttgart, Jannik had the urge to create since he was young. Fueled by a passion for improvisation and being influenced by the pioneering sounds of breakbeat and ambient, Jannik has honed a unique and minimalistic style, which has led him to release on Sleeparchive and our very own Frenzy Recordings with 'Desire' [FRNZYVA002]. 

Next to that, Jannik is one of the co-founders of the collective 'Diffraction' who provide nightlife to their hometown and surroundings. With a passion for innovation and a desire to live off of his creative pursuits, Jannik is excited to share his music with the world.

This week's mix is provided by A.mo, a French DJ based in Paris, After ‘O’Clock resident at Glazart Paris and a member of the French female collective Vénus Club.

Coming from a classical music & dance background, she developed a sense of rhythm and percussion that shapes her musical aesthetic. Passionate about electronic music for many years, A.mo found a new way to express herself behind the decks, allowing her to reveal the other side of her personality. She likes to build incisive sets, playing fast-paced mental techno, ranging from percussive grooves to dark atmospheres.

@sachakassy is a 23 years old french artist based in Paris.
He began playing music at age 7 in his hometown conservatory in Dunkirk, and spent there 10 years learning drums, keys and guitar. Firstly interested in Rock and Hip-hop… he discovered Electronic music production and DJing in high-school by hanging out in Belgian and Flemish clubs in Gent, Brussels or Rotterdam.

In 2019, he founded the project Conceptual Violence with his teenagehood friends @nymed and @movblaj, curating illegal events in an old WW2 Blockhaus located on the Flemish coast. 
He then developed this project in a structure promoting new-coming as well as established artists and labels from all around the world.
Since his 18s, Kassy has played gigs in underground parties in Nothern France, Brussels, Paris, and worked for several music institutions such as @laradionova.
This June 2023, he is releasing "Club Kid" : a five track EP digging deep across his music likings.

Kassy’s style is a Techno oriented rich mix of his multiple Electronic and 2000's influences, added to his experience of Club culture. 
Playing with multiple genres, crafting deep chords, dirty drums and performing own vocals… his music is characterized by a melodic and catchy tone, tinted by a pure teenage disillusion.

HOME SERIES : Kassy

I-RO, born in Istanbul, began her musical journey by drumming and exploring various genres of music. I-RO always had a passion for rhythm and percussion and moving to Amsterdam led her to discover the music scene that fits her artistic identity. The creative music outlet exposed her talents which were quickly picked up by various organizations and clubs around Europe.

Her sound is characterized by its hypnotizing flow of powerful elements. To create a compelling atmosphere she likes to integrate sound patterns from various sub-genres of electronic music into her sets. Together with her storytelling skills and desire to stay connected with the dance floor, her sets are a sensory experience.

MARRØN, known for his rhythmic sound driven by his roots, has curated a hypnotizing mix exclusively for Float Records. The mix is released as a limited mix CD containing 31 unreleased tracks by up and coming talents and established artists from the techno landscape. Next to the CD, all tracks are released separately as a VA.  

A word from MARRØN: When I was approached to do a cd mix for Float Records with my complete input from a dj perspective, I was nothing but honored and motivated to create something special. I’ve selectively chosen producers who I feel musically connected to and those who could use a push in their young careers. It’s important for me to be able to give back to the scene as much as it gives me. 

This mix and all the tracks selected are mainly focused on the key elements I wish for in techno, which is having a locked in groove and rhythm throughout the whole duration of time. Pushing for detailed minimalism and pace that keeps you in a driving energetic mood. Punchy variated low ends but never too heavy, a mix that brings the club dancefloor to wherever you are listening to it.

@alexandrelaeddis' vinyls rescue the sound of the 90s and early 2000s. Barcelona-born, Madrid-based DJ, producer and @hemisferiorecords owner is a regular on our techno nights, and he's curating this week's Human Mix.

ogtrues is a Berlin based producer and DJ. He relies on minimalism to accentuate individual elements of his carefully selected tracks. Groovy loops merge with crisp percussive samples in an ever-evolving soundscape, hypnotising and drawing the listener in. Gradual progressions and atmospheric, floaty synths convey a feeling of weightlessly drifting through space. It is the synthesis of dub elements with classic techno sounds that makes the mix feel both danceable and effortless.

ogtrues has impressed crowds and the techno scene time and time again with his groove-infused sound, combining rolling, hypnotic, melodic and old-school elements into one.
His career has already seen him play across Berlin’s best venues and also in Poland and Amsterdam. What really makes him stand out though is his OG mentality of authenticity and realness. A first class producer himself, he has released on a range of underground labels including BCCO.
He is inspired by his power to inspire others and driven by a desire to push forward the music he loves, as well as the scene he calls his home.
His sound is organic, well-rounded and overall sexy as hell, pulling you in with its seductive rhythms and keeping you locked on the floor with its pounding drive.

@joaquin-poletti aka JXXXO, is a DJ and Producer born in San Martín, province of Buenos Aires.

24-year-old artist belonging to the record label GHETTO RHYTHM. His first influences in electronic music came with EDM at the age of 13. Over time he got to know clubs and DJs of different musical styles that marked him to this day when it comes to mixing. In his sessions you can find old school, jungle, tribal, house and hardgroove sounds. At the age of 21, he began to enter the world of production, where to this day he could be released on labels such as Ghetto Rhythm, BCCO, suara, DCG, synergie, different sound, his productions have the support of Marron, Laura Van Hal, Amoral, Francois X, Coyu , Beau Didier, Bw, Stier.x, Lacchesi,  Dxrvo, Lea Occhi, Ket Robinson, Ty, among others.
