It centers on Juniper, who shortly after returning to her hometown is abducted and forced into an arranged marriage with the Emperor of the land, Robin. As the story unfolds, Juniper experiences euphoria, self hatred, and finds love in the last place she expects it. Will Juniper ultimately be able to survive this experience, or is this all too much for a girl who just wants to be herself?
