DJ Speed is an Irish dj who has recently come to Berlin to rock as many dancefloors as possible. He is an integral part of the digital indecency crew alongside DJ Frequency who look to showcase old school, grooving techno - the real stuff. Often seen playing strictly vinyl he has headlined sold out shows in clubs all around Ireland and today in this mix he showcases some proper hardgroove and his sharp mixing. Get up and get dancing ! As a co-founder of the DJ and event collective KLINSH, SI.KURD was significantly involved in the creation and success of several event series in Braunschweig: on the one hand as the initiator of the KRISENTRAUMA series, several appearances in the LAUT KLUB and as a resident at the DIPPIN' in the BRAIN KLUB. Currently he is one of the residents of the event series BINÄR (Berlin/ Hildesheim) and the Geheimclub Magdeburg.
Besides the club events he organized open airs, streams and music workshops. Restricted by the Corona Pandemic he dedicated himself to producing and released his own track "WHAT YOU WAITING FOR" at the end of last year. A few weeks later he released a remix EP with interpretations of his track by 9 DJ and producer friends.
His record collection reflects his wide-ranging musical interests, a constant is the preference for raw analog productions: Techno, Functional but also House he prefers with strong melodic pads, always stably carried by highly functional drums without ever lacking depth or atmosphere.
Through conscious use of chords, vocal samples and acid he creates drive and tension in his sets

With heavy inspiration taken from the 90's, Stanz dons a unique flavour of samba beats and slamming rhythm with an old-school choppy mixing style which has seen him play alongside the likes of French DJ, Bours? and having his productions supported from Legendary North West selectors such as Cleric, and Kander.

Concrete – Our Story

Concrete was founded in 2018 with a podcast series, inspired by the techno culture of the 90s in Berlin. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down clubs in 2020 and made it impossible to celebrate in familiar spaces, the team made a pivotal decision: they organized illegal raves at off-locations – events that often ended with a heavy police presence and helicopter deployments.

But they were not discouraged. On the contrary, they evolved. From underground events to major club nights in Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam. Supported by an outstanding team of lighting and sound technicians, they managed to transform off-locations into warehouse-style spaces and professionally equip the legendary E-Werk in Berlin, as well as numerous festivals. During this time, they shaped the scene with unique energy and vision.

Concrete’s greatest dream was to build their own float for the Loveparade. And in 2023 – after years of hard work and determination – that dream finally became a reality.

With changes in the team and new priorities, Concrete will focus entirely on music releases in the coming years, continuing to enrich the dance music culture.
