PS11 is the project of Matthew Antico, a NY DJ and producer whose introduction to electronic music began in the mid-90s while living in Los Angeles. After relocating to Queens, NY, in 1996, he adopted the alias DJ ELEVEN and immersed himself in the NYC underground techno scene, sharpening his skills as a DJ by spinning fast-paced percussive techno at underground parties and weekly residencies. After a long hiatus from DJ’ing, in 2018, Matt took on the name PS11 and became deeply focused on music production, growing as an artist & DJ. As a producer, he is heavily influenced by his past, weaving a sonic tapestry of synths, bass, and percussive elements specifically created to connect with the dance floor. While behind the decks, he has that same connection in mind, shifting seamlessly between repetitive and often hypnotic synths, percussion, and heavy bass-driven rhythms.

His debut release landed in October of 2022 on Mastoid Kollektive’s PINK 2 various artists, followed by releases on labels such as Chicago Jaxxx, Oneiros Records, E-HRZN Records, EvilGroove, ASS3, BCCO, Duplicity, and an upcoming VA release on Concrete Tbilisi.
