DJ Capelli was raised in New Jersey and found his passion for electronic music in the late 80's at 10 years old, fueled by the resonating sounds of industrial music including bands like Nine Inch Nails, Front 242, KMFDM, and Skinny Puppy. By 14-15, he went to his first rave, discovering a vibrant community to call his own. At 16, he acquired his set of Technic turntables and a mixer and began learning the ins and outs of DJing. Inspired by DJ Bad Boy Bill and influenced by the Chicago house scene, he quickly found his signature sound playing hard house infused with the soulful essence of Chicago house & disco house.

As the '90s drew to a close, Capelli became a prominent figure in the New Jersey and New York City party circuits, collaborating with local New York and New Jersey DJs such as Odi, Kazpa, Jo-S, Empress, Pauly, and Jevic from Sympty. After a hiatus in the mid-2000s, the allure of the scene beckoned once again in 2020, during the Covid 19 pandemic being reignited by TNL's live broadcasts and the birth of the SESS1ONS events under the Verrazano Bridge. By 2021, equipped with fresh gear and renewed vigor, Capelli emerged from retirement, unleashing a torrent of hard-hitting techno mixes infused with that old Chicago flare that captured the attention of RTDF RAVE RADIO. Now serving as the resident DJ for RTDFRaveRadio.com, Capelli has delivered 16 exclusive mixes and is actively contributing to promotional efforts. Today, Simply Jeff is best known for his funky beats and breaks sound, but in the early 90s, he was making waves in the US dance culture with partner Brian Ginsberg as X-Calibur, releasing their first major recordings on Moonshine Music. Together, they climbed the Billboard dance charts with their single "Love American Style" and performed live nationwide as one of America’s first electronic dance acts. Jeff also DJed at hotspots and underground rave events throughout Southern California. In 1991, he began his career as a radio mix show DJ, co-hosting the "MARS-FM Top 30 Countdown" with the legendary Swedish Egil, where they broke iconic 90s dance artists like Moby, The Prodigy, and Carl Cox. At the time, the "Top 30 Countdown" was the number one afternoon weekend radio show in Los Angeles, and MARS-FM (103.1 FM) in Santa Monica became a pioneering station for airing techno and house music from around the world 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
A couple years later, bad press would hit the rave culture in Los Angeles like a virus.
This brought the temporary closing of all rave events in the entire Southern California area! During this changing time, Jeff reinvents himself as an artist and changes his DJ name from DJ Spinn to Simply Jeff and continues his passion of dance music while introducing his new funky breaks sound by releasing original music on his very own Orbit Transmission label. By 1994, opens up his first record store with friends in Orange County, California specializing in dance music and rave culture. Jeff would then be a community retailer of dance music over a span of 16 years. However, Simply Jeff's worldwide acclaim in dance music as a solo artist began in 1996, when signing a recording contract with popular indie dance label, City of Angels (Home of The Crystal Method, Uberzone and Elite Force). Hello world!
Simply Jeff continued to release popular dance singles such as "My Planet" and "Godzilla Funk" to releasing top selling commercial dance compilations such as the "Funk-Da-Fried" series. Simply Jeff's evolving style of breakbeat accompanied by the sounds of various genres has taken him to perform on various sound stages around the world. Touring has also promoted the collaboration of music projects with various artist across the board. From electronic dance music artist, Uberzone and DJ Dan; to hip-hop originator, Afrika Bambaataa; 80s pop icon, Stacey Q; comedian, Andrew Dice Clay; to legendary rap artist, Snoop Dog. Simply Jeff has also appeared in various films, television shows, live cast and documentaries concentrating on the subject of electronic dance music throughout the years.
After having a strong run throughout the 90s to releasing his last major album compilation in 2010, titled "Electro Shock," a brief hiatus was in store for Simply Jeff.
Since 2018, Simply Jeff has been making his first steps back into the music scene and has evolved once again as an artist and dance music enthusiast. He continues to share his experience with his colleagues on podcast shows as well as promoting the music he loves the most on his livestream DJ sets. This has ultimately drove Jeff's passion to share, inspire and educate the next generation of electronic dance music artist and enthusiast around the world. Promoting peace and international beats!

Mike Daimon started his musical career at a young age as a drummer. Throughout his youth he was in a few local bands and played quite a few live shows. During that time frame he also latched on to electronic and techno music and was hooked instantly. He knew something new and exciting was emerging. 

Mike then started his DJ career in the late 90s spinning at underground parties and events in the New York/New Jersey area playing mainly tech-house, techno and trance. Shortly after, he started to produce movie scores as well as various genres of techno and dove deep into working on new music.

After a long hiatus, Mike decided it was time to get back out there and do what he loves to do which is to bring great underground music to the masses.

These days he gravitates more towards darker and deeper sounds like techno, deep house and EBM. Mike says, “it feels good to dip back into my roots and continue on this journey.”

Jim Solis is a Hard Techno DJ & Producer from Hasselt, Belgium
with over two decades behind the decks, Jim Solis has carved out a fierce reputation as one of Belgium’s most uncompromising forces in the underground techno scene. Known for his relentless energy and razor-sharp precision, Jim delivers sets that fuse dark industrial soundscapes with hypnotic, high-pressure techno—pushing dancefloors to their absolute limit.

Starting his journey in 1997, Solis first emerged in the Belgian circuit spinning R&B and deep house before fully embracing techno by the early 2000s. His early residencies at JH Chaoz, The Sound Factory, and later The Zoo in Hasselt laid the foundation for what would become a long-standing devotion to the harder, more visceral side of club music.

Now a resident at Six AM Events, Jim Solis is known for crafting sonic experiences that hit with both weight and intent. Drawing inspiration from artists like Scalameriya, Perc, and Randomer, his sound is raw, cinematic, and unapologetically underground.

Roul Bauer aka Vicious Steam Engine

Born in 1978 in Germany, Roul Bauer—better known as Vicious Steam Engine—discovered his passion for techno during the explosive rave movement of the 1990s in Switzerland and Germany. Deeply inspired by the driving rhythms and hypnotic energy of the scene, he carried that passion forward until it fully ignited during the COVID-19 lockdown in August 2020. It was then that his desire to create his own sonic journeys came to life.

A year later, he began producing his own techno tracks and honed his mixing skills through a DJ/mixing workshop with Mixmasters.ch. To sharpen his craft and connect with the underground community, he launched his own podcast on SoundCloud: Hot Pressure Stream. Since 2023, he has taken a deep dive into music production, attending two techno retreats hosted by Mixmasters.net in Ibiza. There, he studied with industry legends such as Funk D’Void, Patrik Berg, Harvey McKay, Wehbba, and Josh Wink. He is currently advancing his production skills through an online course in electronic music at Sinee Institute, led by Björn Torwellen, while also mastering the Ableton Push 2.

New York City, mid to late-90’s. The steam rising from the manholes at 4am, no traffic but taxis everywhere. Not a camera in sight, graffiti everywhere. An after-hours every where you looked… shit, the regular clubs would go from Saturday night into Sunday night EASY. Only for the strong, the real ones, the ones that lived that life, a true life of excess. 

This story starts off with a DJ called Pussy Lee. Raver, Artist and Club Kid since the late 90’s and this lust for Hardcore & Techno started way back in high school. 

Her first DJ gig was a massive one, resident at The Tunnel on Saturdays in 1999. Now if you’re reading this and you’re not familiar with those Saturdays, well, they were something of legend. Danny Tenaglia’s D-Tour parties were taking place under the same roof on the same night… so yeah. Her goal was to bring more ravers and underground to the current scene there and It was a success. Pussy Lee and her partners then started Neverland Entertainment in which they threw weekly United Club Kid and Raver events in venues such as Octagon, Exit and Webster Hall. At that time she was also a professional model so this in turn would bring in more nights out, more events, more full throttle so to speak. This led to guest spots in movies such as “Party Monster” with the success of her Club Kid raver ventures.

Nothing exceeds like excess would be the club kid motto since day one. The best of anything, at any given time… and because of this It all came crashing down as she became addicted to drugs. This would change everything because let’s be realistic, nightlife and drugs just go hand in hand. It’s always 1000%. However, Jenny Lee became sober in 2010 and has remained sober since, focusing on her Real Estate career but still, something was missing deep inside… was it the drugs? Nah. It was that BANG. That speaker thump, the beginning of it all for her, coming full circle all over again. She felt a big part of her was missing for a long time and she found myself alone driving, banging and reaching for Techno all the time. She went to sessions In 2020 and saw some of her favorites like Frankie Bones and friends still rocking it and she felt encouraged to reach out and Dj again, “Heck If they can still do it why can't I?”

Fast forward 2023, Jenny Lee has since partnered up with Jay Maniakal and together they have created rtdfraveradio.com. Again, She feels whole with this mecca of creativity, art and music and how now involved in it again… “Not just for me but for everyone,I feel this is my purpose.” With Rtdf Rave Radio she has begun making DJ sets every week for the show, and she has gotten booked all over NYC this past summer at many events. She has indeed resurrected a fan base which she had no idea still existed, I have since started techno production. “I only see creative growth and freedom in my future now. I am excited to see how these ventures grow. Not just for me, but for all that are involved. This is my life passion.”

Jay Maniakal. was born in Brooklyn and raised out of Bensonhurst/Coney Island.
He started DJing and promoting raves in the 1990s in the local underground outlaw hardcore techno scene. He grew and learned with his friends how to DJ, and they eventually ended up becoming his influences. 
As time went by he hosted and promoted countless outlaw events with his cousin Nikki Fingers of D.O.A., Industrial Strength Records and countless other pioneer DJs and promoters from the scene. In 1997, Jay gained a residency spot for a summer in the Palladium’s Engine Room, opening the door for a couple of gigs in The Chapel of the legendary Limelight. In addition, he played several events at The Tunnel, CBGB’s, Coney Island High, The Wetlands, Octagon, The Bank, One Love @ The Batcave, Planet 28, and the MECHA parties with Simon Underground of the Ludlow. 
Everything seemed to be going great but in 2002, Jay was convicted in a 14 count federal indictment due to the famous investigation of the Limelight Nightclub.
After his time was served, he came home from prison and started piecing his life back together. In 2007. he decided to start his career in tattooing, opening his own tattoo studio with some partners in Brownsville, Brooklyn called TF Body Art. He turned half the tattoo studio into a full scale recording studio where he produced, not techno, but hip-hop and rapping. In 2019, he went out to his first rave since his incarceration in 2002, and was instantly reunited with his hometown friends from the streets of Brooklyn. They were all still very much involved in the rave scene. Frankie Bones, JR Mac. John Discala, Alan Sax, The Dever to name a few.
 A year later the Covid -19 pandemic hit, and birthed the Sess1ons parties under the Verrazano Bridge. By the end of 2022 he was fully assimilated into techno again, but had never touched a digital mixer or CDJ’s.
“Vinyl was all I knew until I was taught by Jennylee how to go digital, I figured it out in about 10 minutes and I haven’t stopped since.” 
Jay is still currently a tattoo artist in Brooklyn but is also one of the co-founders and operator of RTDFRAVERADIO.COM, a 24/7 underground rave music internet radio station offering DJs from the U.S. and international talent. Live broadcast events, organized shows, and live rave events.
Jay's style varies from really techno to really hard techno and Hardcore but he is versatile across many genres.

With over 50 release credits under his belt, Justin Schumacher has cultivated his art since coming up in the 90s NYC battle rap and rave scenes. From humble beginnings working at NYC's prestigious Satellite Records, to playing the Sunday School stage at Electric Zoo, to releasing on Carlo Lio and Pig & Dans labels; Rawthentic/On Edge Society and Elevate, respectively, as well as countless other original and remix work for household labels across the underground spectrum.  The Brooklynite has carved a lane for himself in the global techno community with hard hitting, floor focused, crafty techno cuts.

A DJ first and foremost, his passion and sharp knack for selecting cutting edge grooves and cerebral thumping soundscapes has been recognized and showcased across the continental US in addition to the concrete sprawl where he resides. Justin's ability to read crowds and respond with detailed and nuanced sonic architecture is a true testament to his appreciation for techno, house, and club/rave culture.

Christopher DiAngelis, professionally known as GONZO, is a true veteran of the underground electronic music scene and a seminal figure in the East Coast rave movement.

His career began in the early 1990s as part of the influential New York City promoter crew Adrenaline, which was instrumental in cultivating the city’s raw and unfiltered warehouse rave culture. In 1992, GONZO secured a residency at the iconic Limelight nightclub, a pivotal achievement that helped establish his influence during the formative years of the scene.

GONZO quickly gained recognition for his fearless and unique style behind the decks, rising to prominence during the golden age of rave. He has performed alongside seminal acts such as The Crystal Method and The Chemical Brothers, and brought his high-energy sets to major festivals including Lollapalooza in 1997 and Woodstock in 1999, where he shared stages with Fatboy Slim, Dave Ralph, and Sandra Collins.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, GONZO has performed extensively across the United States, as well as in Montreal and Japan. Despite his success on large festival stages, he has remained deeply connected to the underground, consistently delivering bold and authentic sets that resonate with dedicated rave audiences.

RAVE SYNDICATE is a hard techno/industrial techno project founded in 2018, originally as a duo. Following an impactful stretch through Eastern Europe, Eric continues to push the project forward with a long-term vision that includes a deeper connection to the European scene, both creatively and physically.

Proudly born and raised in New Jersey, Richard Olsen aka Suburbanlab, has always had his eyes and ears on NYC. His love for electronic music is in his genes, passed down from his mother. She spent much of her time at legendary NYC clubs like Studio 54, Paladium, Tunnel and Limelight to name a few. Listening to disco and house in his early years birthed Suburbanlab's love of dance music. Soon he found himself seeking out house mixtapes and listening to live broadcasts of Saturday Night Dance Party. In 1997, fueled by his obsession with electronic music, he starting going out to clubs in NYC like The Tunnel and the legendary Limelight. In 1999, he ventured into his first rave oarty and immediately knew that's where he belonged. In 2001,  he decided to start DJing, so he got his first set of turntables and mixer. From being involved in the rave scene for a few years, his taste in music had changed. evolving into a love for a darker techno sound, evident in his first vinyl purchase of Surgeon Screw, The Roses EP. Even though techno and it's associated harder and harsher styles still hold prominence, there really is no genre he doesn't play. Jungle, Hip Hop, Trip Hop/Chill, IDM/Breakcore and Hardcore to name a few. As a fresh face to the NYC DJ scene, Suburbanlab has been involved in one way or another for over 20 years. Since 2019 he's been concentrating on higher bpm, energy filled hard techno. Holding weekly livestreams on UK based Locked Down Radio, regular spots on RTDF Rave Radio and mixes for various other shows. With too many influences to name you can always count on hard edged sounds, always focusing on the future with respect to the past.

Mike Daimon started his musical career at a young age as a drummer. Throughout his youth he was in a few local bands and played quite a few live shows. During that time frame he also latched on to electronic and techno music and was hooked instantly. He knew something new and exciting was emerging. 

Mike then started his DJ career in the late 90s spinning at underground parties and events in the New York/New Jersey area playing mainly tech-house, techno and trance. Shortly after, he started to produce movie scores as well as various genres of techno and dove deep into working on new music.

After a long hiatus, Mike decided it was time to get back out there and do what he loves to do which is to bring great underground music to the masses.

These days he gravitates more towards darker and deeper sounds like techno, deep house and EBM. Mike says, “it feels good to dip back into my roots and continue on this journey.”

DJ Capelli was raised in New Jersey and found his passion for electronic music in the late 80's at 10 years old, fueled by the resonating sounds of industrial music including bands like Nine Inch Nails, Front 242, KMFDM, and Skinny Puppy.
