As devoted fans of the staggering achievement that was Marvel's Infinity Saga, it would perhaps be fair to say that the ushering in of Marvel's new era has had more than a few bumps in the road.  With criticisms ranging from an over abundance of content to a significant dip in quality to personnel changes, reshoots, etc fan support has started to wane.  But with their objective hats back on, Vahé and Imran engage in a series of broader MCU-based discussions as well as diving in to more focused conversations on the product.  For this episode, the show explores 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'.

Initially unveiled in 1993 by creator Sam Kieth, The Maxx was swiftly picked up by MTV for a thirteen-part series forming part of their Oddities brand in 1995.  The premise focuses on a small group of characters and their interpersonal connections that impact them within the perceived real world and an alternate dimension entitled Pangea or The Outback.

Vahé and Imran delve deep into the show's backstory, its incredible characters, its unmistakable 90s aesthetic and relish in what is undoubtedly a timeless piece of enthralling fiction. breaking Da Bassment Demo Tape to the world was one of the coolest, serendipitous events of my life. i've been in love with the crew since i was a kid. the below blog post was my personal love letter to Da Bassment/Swing Mob, but through that i got to meet so many others who share my passion.
i've had it on good authority that some of the members have heard it, & even Timbo himself was told about the tape.
i guess the main reason i put it up at all was for the historical record, so we had SOMEthing these guys n gals worked on together during their formative years at Dahjelon Studios.

*update as of 15/09/2020:
-there are currently two separate efforts by fans to properly re-master and re-release this tape. hopefully we can have a hi-fi version of it sometime soon.
-it was recently confirmed that the girls from Sugah have re-united over the last few years (Tweet, Sue + Rolita), and are currently in the middle of releasing an EP, possibly followed by an album.
