Detroit’s KING CHEETAH is here with his debut 12” for Light Body Works.  Growing up in the haze of late 90s Detroit record shopping brought about the inspiration for this record.

“I wanted to capture that moment when you put the needle down on that record that gave you goosebumps, the find you were looking for… you only hear 2 seconds and you know its for you”

King Cheetah finds the appropriate space in between sounds and harmonies, rather than all the focus on the actual sounds, all while exercising a subtle rhythmic action that can be heard down the block.

The original releases also contained tracks from Alien FM (Aux 88) and Unknown Force, however, the rights to these tracks have now gone back to the original artists.
