The debut release from REGENTS which is a new project from Cartridge & Strategy...the first single "Greengate Adhesives" has been heavily supported from Mala, Mary Anne Hobbs and Truth and will be released on the 28th of sept '21 followed by the full ep on the 15th oct '21 on the label "Deep Dark & Dangerous"

This is a new collaborative project from two well known established artists coming together to bring something new. Both legends in their own right, Cartridge and Strategy bring songs that contain a bit more "depth and meaning" than other projects whilst retaining the heavyweight production and intricate flows they are both known for.

Strategy has been touring internationally for the last decade as is known for his work with Dub Phizix and also part of Manchester's legendary group Broke'n'£nglish.

Cartridge has been getting lots of attention with a string of well received releases on labels from Albion to CNCPT.

"Greengate Adhesives" has already been in heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1 & 6 as well as plays on 1xtra and further afield and has already garnered a lot of attention and interest way ahead of it being announced as an initial release.

Debuted by Mala in his guest mix for Mary Anne Hobbs, it was a stand out song and was quickly "ripped" and played daily by Mary Anne who was desperately scouring the internet to find any information on who REGENTS were.

Now with the EP scheduled for release on vinyl on the DDD imprint as well as a two videos completed for the songs "Greengate Adhesive" and "Shegry" its time to let the world know a bit more about who REGENTS are.

Ausdauer in German refers to having endurance. For Creatura, it's the perfect word for her time living in Berlin these last 2 years. The city is just as challenging as it is rewarding; With every feeling of failure comes a breakthrough into another level of growth and achievement.

About Creatura
Creatura is a producer and DJ from Toronto, and currently based in Berlin. Her solo production is a collaboration of hip-hop inspired beats and ambient vocals holding a darker melodic tone. Currently in school for Electronic Music Production, she is releasing her 4th E.P. in May 2024. After DJing in Toronto and on Etikette Radio in Berlin, she will be traveling through parts of Canada this summer to spread bass heavy tunes and her own soulful melodies.

Cue up your sound system! The second chapter of Sentry's compilation series is reaching the long-awaited light of day and furthers the notoriety of its lauded artist congregation in the typical high-grade style. Moving into the last quarter of 2020 and from strength to strength with each release, the imprint welcomes plenty of fresh faces to the revered artist roster, such as Arkham Sound, Karnage and Muttley among others. Bridling amid the commotion, returning champions like Cimm, LSN and Substance, as well as the label boss Youngsta himself untether their respective supreme vibrations. To be released as a digital long-player alongside a four-track vinyl sampler - 'Part 2' forms a comprehensive listening journey, truly taking bass music enthusiasts for an extensive and stylistically varied ride. Smoothly fusing meditative soundscapes with its apocalyptic counterparts, the result forms a select composite of some of the scene's brightest talents encapsulated within the heavyweight LP.

Featuring a meticulously curated assortment of bass music flavours, it kicks off with Dub Techno inclinations, ephemeral chords and mesmeric soundscapes in Cimm's 'Glider' - laying it down on a foundation bassline. 'Shottah Kush' by the LSN collective conjures an as electric as industrial mammoth, running things with head-nodding swing and scattered outbursts of otherworldly distortion.
Wandering through the hypnotic temple sounds of 'The Fallen' by Saraphim, 'Tupi' by Japan's CITY1 returns to a full-frontal flute assault, loaded with murderous low-frequency excursions, primed for the dance. More infernal overtones and glitches await in Kali & Senncoria's 'Dragon Shape' - taking listeners on an epic sound design journey.
Sirens from afar, silky strings and high-grade 808's fire through 'Magie' by Muttley, followed up by off-kilter Dubstep at its finest - 'Nug' by Substance & Youngsta, teeming of sonic intricacies. With militant and gripping percussion, Arkham Sound's 'So Jaded' guides through its forceful but evanescent atmosphere.

Taking on the torch, Karnage immolates musing melodies on larger-than-life drums in 'Magitek' - closely tailed by the highly inflammatory contents of Confusious' 'Octane' - radiating shut-down vibes. Wrapped up by spheric harmonies and top-notch 2-Step tendencies in Rednote's 'Albion' - the LP concludes its beautiful journey with a captivating, ruminative meditation of 'Genesis' by Boston's Saltus. Sourced from some of the world's finest artists, both established and new - the mighty Sentry Records syndicate strikes again.
