La session commence avec « Take Control » et « Earth Step » de Rapha Pico sortie sur Conscious Sounds. A la musique et au mix, on retrouve Centry et Ben Lion Vibes & Jah Bunny. Heavyweight old skool style meets Uk Steppas. Bee Nixx nous interprète le très réussi « Did you ? » sur une production Zulu Vibes sortie le 15 septembre. C’est le grand retour des Songs of Uplifment. Pour ce 5e chapitre, Lion’s Den laisse Mighty Massa exprimé sa vibes avec 3 versions de « Breakin Down The Barrier ». 5e production pour les sudistes d’Equal Brothers. Sur ce disque, deux faces pour deux titres de Simon Nyabinghi. En face A, David Cairol nous interprète « On the Road Again ». En face B, l’instrumental « Athletic » en 3 versions. Du reste rendez-vous en fin de semaine à la salle Diff’art pour Nneka et Asian Dub Foundation notamment, puis dimanche prochain pour une spéciale Stack Attack avec des membres du crew Shelta Sound System.

a good amount of these tunes were collected between 2020 - 2022, and never got to see the full light of an outdoor afternoon festival vibe from me until this set. just felt to preserve the moment and the mini-era, even tho posting it a year plus later still. a lot of these tracks will now be retired for me, but some of them i also view as modern day sound system “hits” to play again and again (when the time is right ..like when you’re dabbling your toes in the water and chilling on the beach in the daylight between night-rave-modes!)
