i get super anxious when i have to collaborate, something that i need to work but MHMMD is one of the few people that absolutely read the sonic room like a bible — this being our second collaboration, it was sparked by a remix i had initially asked to do for & upon sending that, he simultaneously sent another set of stem for collaborative work, stems that would conceive “echoes of ivangeli”, a painting, a sonic sermon.

on this intercession, MHMMD shares his feelings on how’s received the project — with the use of the saxophone forming the crust of his sentiments. he further likens how the genre-bending nature of this sonic would mirror bits & pieces of what jazz is.

he gives flowers, flowers that ultimately become his too as this song doesn’t materialise without his vision — especially from a melodic standpoint.
