We are privileged to host music by the next artist on Transparent Audio, Koax! Known for his deep bass-driven subs interlaced with intricate neurofunk sound design, this producer does not disappoint! Refraction Vol.001 features his collaboration track with Grafta MC entitled ‘Solitary’.

Chris’ upbringing began with orchestral brass instruments, which opened his mind to further musical talent and paved a path to playing the lead guitar in a top Bristol Death Metal band. Unclear on his journey however, Chris felt as if he lacked true output moving forward with the band until he discovered the likes of Noisia and Mefjus. The fast and complex nature of neurofunk translated well from the heavy rhythms found in death metal and after some years of taste refinement, Koax has found himself wedged between minimal and neuro Drum & Bass.

Alongside Koax’s productions, we have Monk Audio’s very own Grafta MC. The lyricist has quickly climbed through the ranks as a host MC, dedicating his main focus towards creating good energy and complementing artists through his unique hosting skills.
